I don’t know, bruhs…Like, I should be thrilled about this (and I guess I ultimately kind of am…or at least cautiously optimistic), but I worry how that contract’s gonna age. Had we signed Schwarber I’d have had the same concern.
I’m just gonna hope he mashes well into his 30s a la Nellie Cruz and doesn’t turn into a RH late-career Chris Davis.
It’s a big-boy deal, though, no doubt. Probably the O’s’ most noteworthy signing since Miggy Tejada.
