Inches

As a Dodgers fan, Im disgusted by that fontract. Paying that bum that kinda money. If Yamamoto has an opt out, he definitely gonna take it and get a pay bump

Ohtani lookin dumb not getting an opt out. If Kyle Ticker get 60 mil a yr, ohtani should ask for 200mil a yr

I’m all for players making as much as they can, but these contracts are terrible for the health of the league. I don’t blame Tucker or anyone taking those deals, but the deals are absurd.

It’s great that the Yankees continue to be nearly an afterthought like they have been for nearly a quarter century.

How is anyone letting there kid play football over baseball

Every single mom should be there son personal catcher and have him up every morning taking batting practice
The biggest issue here is that football is a lot more accessible in America than baseball.

You’re not wrong.

It’s just that for football you basically just need what? A pair of cleats and a mouthguard?

Baseball these days requires a bat, gloves, batting gloves, cleats, baseballs, practice equipment like batting tees and cages.

Maybe it’s different now. When I played Pop Warner I just paid the league fee. That was it.

I know the issues money wise but I also think there is a cool factor that baseball lacks

I forgot who said it but some guy said that a lot of kids are delusional about what sports they can play.

You have some athletic 5’9 kid who thinks he’s going to the NBA. It’s not gonna happen. But he could easily be a professional baseball 2B and make millions.

Like you said though: they don’t think it’s cool.

Blue jays offered Tucker 10 years 350

That was his only long term offer , dude had no market at all . When they changed course and said they’d take a short term contract then dodgers & Mets entered

They were adamant that they didn’t want a short term deal at first

Was it because of his age? Why wasn’t there a better market?
