It should absolutely be Alabama and Miami getting in.
-It would be a horrible precedent and a disgrace if you essentially punish a team for playing in a conference championship game and losing to arguably the best team in the country. That would be another reason to call CFB amateur hour.
-Miami and Notre Dame have very similar metrics, but the head to head has to matter. I understand that their game was at the beginning of the season, but every game should matter. Of course you have to take into account how well teams are playing now, but when you have resumes that are as close at theirs, head to head should absolutely hold weight.
who that didnt play in the SEC Championship can you make a viable case for that Bama is better than?
Oklahoma? No. They beat Bama in Tuscaloosa
Ole Miss? No. They only have one loss in a one possession game @ Georgia
TAMU? No. They only have one loss against a ranked Texas team in Austin and Beat ND by 1 @ ND
There is literally no logical reason why Bama should be in. If any of the above teams lost in the SEC championship then the punishing a championship loser argument makes sense. In this case it doesnt. Alabama was shyt this season and has the worst loss(es) of all the SEC at-large teams. A
home loss to Oklahoma and then a
two-score loss to
(5-7) FSU. They have no business in the CFP.
ND and Miami are the right choices breh. I cant believe anyone is actually arguing for Bama
