What is gonna tip the scale for Bama to be in is that they already beat the conference champion on the road in Athens.
In all seriousness, there's no way they committee is leaving Bama out two years in a row. There's always at least one pissed off team that got left out with these final selections and this year, it's looking like it'll be Miami.

I keep hearing Missouri
Whats the tie to Mizzou? I know he has family ties to miami, grandfather I think but I havent heard him as name for miami yet but could be very lowkey as its still early..

Raiola to Texas Tech or Miami?

I would think they have Sorsby and/or CJ Bailey above him.. I would slot him 3rd from there..

ATL…overly
Man the more I think about it it’s gotta be Bama and Miami.

As much as I hate Bama, they shouldn't be punished for losing the conference championship…yes drop them in the rankings, but not out of the CFP

Miami, 10-2, plays in a conference and beat ND head to head

ND, doesn’t play in a conference, lost to Miami and in 4 comparable head to head vs Miami they lost 3 of 4

If Bama doesn’t get in you can kiss conference championships good bye

If Miami doesn’t get in, why schedule big out of conference games if head to head doesn’t matter

ND? Their best win is USC, and they don’t play in a conference. To keep College Football as we know it in tact, they should be the team out

It's good to see them bacc in their natural element of living vicariously through other teams while waiting for their ReliaQuest opponent.

It just feels right...like the natural order of things. They know their place now.

This isn’t a post of a mentally stable man. This goes beyond football. Get some help.

As funny as it would be to see Bama left out just for the fanbase reaction, how does that not disincentivize conference championship appearances?

Especially when they already beat Georgia in an away game.

Then that makes me wonder why BYU is out?

I don’t really know the solution to any of this besides scrapping everything and starting over.

They have three losses though. That's a lot of Ls and yesterday wasn't particularly close.

As for Notre Dame and Miami. I've looked at it and to me it's close enough to where Miami should be in based on the head to head.

Per usual I expect the committee to put in the wrong teams.

Problem is they kept ND in the playoff rankings all season. Can't push them out now.

ESPNs need for weekly drama is the culprit.

There needs to be ONE official selection show, and that's today.

Let the media and others do their own opinionated rankings each week.
I’m with this

Alabama has a stronger SOS than Mia or ND by far.

And nobody beat more ranked teams, outside of Oklahoma, than Bama.

I think Miami and Bama should be in. ND beat a bunch of gimmies other than USC.

That said, I don't want to play Miami as OU. Lol
I doubt what you said about ranked fans is correct

Pay attn to who is currently ranked, not who was ranked when they played. Mizzou and Tennessee no longer ranked

Edit: maybe you right lol
