CMU and Nebraska have AWFUL rush defenses tho. New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma do not. Also most of that offense were on a handful of explosive runs...remove those plays and the offense was anemic. No way in hell Sherrone calls 3 pass plays on an opening drive like Chip did vs USC so pretending Chip is handcuffed is a narrative I'm not buying. If we go by that logic, does Sherrone get credit for Andrew Marsh and McCulley giving us a pass threat now? Like it makes no sense.

I mean.. play calling duties can be pulled from an OC for a series or two. Or hell, for more. It was discovered that Harbaugh would grab a couple of series every game from Jedd Fisch.

I’m confused. I’m shytting mostly on Wink. All I said about some of the offensive play calling was that it reeked of Sherrone at times. (Conservative/boring/ancient) Think about the games that Sherrone wasn’t there for.

But yea.. my gripe is mostly with the defense and special teams.
