Because in 2024, Pete Crow-Armstrong had a 5.1 barrel per PA.
In 2025, he has a 10.2 barrel per PA.

If you, or any scout anywhere knew this guy would fukking double his barrel rate in 1 offseason, then kudos.
But I didn't expect this. So I don't regret my analysis of him last year one bit.

He's a National League MVP candidate, given his defense.
It doesn't seem like Ohtani is going to have the same otherworldly season as last year.
And there's no buzz at all about Corbin Carroll, though there should be.

Edit - I was wrong about Ohtani. He's actually outpacing his last season. I've just been neglecting the Dodgers.

Shaw adjusted his leg kick and shortened his swing and been hammering the ball ever since. Hope it works in mlb even if he struggles early give him time cuz pca was awful for 2 months(may- June ‘24)then got in a groove and been killin it ever since mlb is difficult af no matter how great you are
