I think Smith-Shawver has the highest ceiling, by a good margin.

But right now, May 20th, I'm probably leaning Augustin Ramirez.
I think Baldwin comes down to earth a bit as a hitter.

And to be fair, Smith-Shawver has a good test this in the coming weeks as the Braves face the Phillies.

Wrigley has been fairly tough on hitters.

I wouldn't be against the Cubs giving a moderate contract to Zac Gallen if they can get his walk rate back down.

Dylan Cease makes sense too, though he's going to be pursued fairly heavily this offseason. My guess is Cease tries to get 35M per year...give or take. At 7 years that puts him in the 245M territory. Maybe that's steep for pitchers these days but we'll see. Max Fried only got 218M over 8 years from the Yankees so maybe the market for Cease is softer.
I'm curious to see how the market shakes out this winter when the real prize is after next season: Skubal.

I actually like Citi field as a stadium more than Yankee Stadium. But Yankees is easier to get to.

But the girls are hotter at Yankees stadium. Especially in the summer on days where it’s not super hot (because a lot of people shy away when it’s muggy and there’s no shade).

I said it before but I was so disappointed in Dodger stadium. I went a while back like 15 years ago and it was cool. But I don’t remember much.

I went again last summer and it legit was a refrigerator convention.

Man listen. I find women of all races beautiful. But them Mexicanas? You gotta get them before Age 26. Because they blow up quick. Unless you luck into a fitness chick.

Dios mio.

Talking about opting out of a contract and his feelings 2 months in. Ya can't be serious right now. Body language experts and mind readers. Letting obvious hit pieces dictate how you feel about where things are is crazy especially 2 months in.

This drama around Juan Soto right now reeks of the MLB's version of First Take and their hyperbole and speculation around basketball and football.

It's fair to criticize a guy for not running a ball out. And sure, Soto isn't off to a hot start like he was in The Bronx. But the Mets are still a solid team and the media is getting stupid about it.

This is the kind of thing that becomes a distraction and could hurt team morale. I don't want to say the media would 100% be responsible but if the Mets start falling in the standings, I wouldn't discount the impact of the media circus in it.

Im mostly relaying what my homie who got season ticks, pretty damn close to the Met bench is sayin. He says dude's moping around a whole lot, and is damn near always by himself. He said he used to fukk wit Lindor all the time, and he rarely sees them hangin anymore. Said its been a complete 180 from spring training. Maybe Soto's pressin? I dont know.

I think it's clearly Jacob Wilson right now.
Who knows if he can keep it up all season long. He's like a luckier version of Luis Arraez, I think.

After that I'd give it to Shane Smith.

I've been down on Jasson Dominguez to start the season but I have to say he's looking a lot better lately. And while I'm a Yankees fan and I understand if people think I'm being a homer, I have to say there's a real chance Dominguez could win ROY when the season is over. I think he's a bit more disciplined than Kristian Campbell. He's OPSing .929 in May so far and it looks legit.
