A lake near Tampa FL
Why are the Marlins and Rays playing at this time, in that weather?

I don't get it. I thought they were trying to avoid these sort of games because there's no dome
The heat and humidity in FL is :damn: I live in the Tampa Bay area and was outside for a extended period of time in the afternoon today and :damn:

Also, don't the Rays always play 1PM home games on Sundays? If they play day games outside on Sundays then they was probably like fukk it they can play day games on Fridays too :mjlol:

In all fairness to whoever it is that makes the schedule for Rays home games..... the Bucs play outside in FL during the daytime with no dome and FL September and October weather is awful temperature wise compared to the Northeast. If the Bucs can play football in hot weather, a sport much more physically demanding than baseball than baseball players can play in the heat too :manny:

He’s pitching real good and matching skubal

I’ve watched him plenty starts dude always has one inning where he struggles

Dude was no hitting the Mets last year then the wheels came off in the 5th

I’m gonna take a bit of a gamble and say that Sandy Alcantara is still a very good pitcher.

Just browsing his numbers and he still looks good. The only difference from the last few years is he’s locating a lot worse. But the stuff is there.

There are rumors the Cubs want him. If they get him and figure out his control issues, that’s gonna be huge for their rotation.

Local cubs reporter said they’re trying to add alcantara & been reaching out to the marlins

Marlins holding out cuz they wanna sell high over low

Passan also said marlins familiar with the cubs farm cuz they had the framework done for a luzardo trade , but the cubs got shook from his medicals and backed out at the last second then the Phillies got him

Hope you’re right cuz they need another tor starter to be legit contenders imo.

Me watching the Mets hit with runners on base:

Mets have left 45 men on base today as the Rockies turn into the 1939 Yankees.
