I'm old but don't really remember Bob Boone as a player. This Fielder one feels crazy. Like I have much more vivid memories of both Cecil and Prince's careers in my lifetime. Card collecting, video games, fantasy baseball.

I heard from historians that Yankees fans back then were low key mad AF that the Yankees signed him to be the skipper 
Team ended up going on a three peat with him as the manager
Prior to 2024 Dodgers fans wanted Dave Roberts to be fired because the Dodgers couldn't get over the hump in October. 2024 they win the World Series and the Dodgers fan base thinks the team will be the baseball equivalent of the 90s Bulls.... Dave Roberts is still the skipper.
