I don't know what the hell the Braves should do with Michael Harris. What do you think? @Remote
Something seems up with him because he’s not making hard contact this year. Nor is he squaring the ball up.

And he DID for the first 3 years in the bigs.

I don’t follow the Braves closely so I don’t know if he’s hurt. It seems to me he’s still really good defensively and he is a threat on the bases.

He’s signed through 2030 and is cheap by today’s contract standards.

I think you just ride it out and hope he rediscovers his power stroke. He probably always going to be prone to expanding the zone a bit. But if he gets back on track he makes up for it with all his other tools.

Hell, I felt like writing off Byron Buxton a couple of times and he’s on fire now. So maybe it’s too early to give up on Harris.

I don't think they should give up either. He's just been awful at the plate this year. Never looked this bad before like you said.

Can't send him down to AAA either because there's nobody to put in his place.

He's also gone over 100 plate appearances without drawing a walk.

The Braves were really screwed this year by a combination of injuries, a slow start by some guys, and the Profar suspension.

Everyone is going to point to the Dodgers rotation being decimated by injuries but they didn’t have the overall bad luck the Braves have had so far.

I haven't looked at Harris statcast since he's not on any of my rosters, and the only league I could even think of trading for him, no one would make that trade. I still keep seeing him on lists where people want to hold him. Or ride the dip. But, many of the same people are doing that with Albies too.

Buxton is showing what he can do when he's not hurt. But, man history is not in his favor.
:hubie:
We are now at 32 :banderas:

he's not gonna get hittable balls after the break :whoo:

He's definitely got a shot of breaking Salvy's record of 48 set in 2021.

The Profar suspension was a big hit. My biggest issue was not adding bullpen pieces to replace the ones they lost.

Having a good bullpen has been a staple for Alex Anthopolous since he took over.

It also doesn't help that the majority of the offense is terrible. They don't hit with runners in scoring position either.

Austin Riley isn't having a good season. Albies has become washed already as well. Ozuna has an injured hip.

Go look at the offensive numbers for the Braves outfielders not named Ronald Acuña Jr.
