Pca f’d up tonight , lost track of the outs and non chalantly caught out 2 allowing a runner to score which was the difference :ufdup:

now the trash in brown & of course taillon lost like expected.Boyd & shota starting gives a them a much better chance

What an amazing play. Arenado been a legend for a long time so it can be easy to forget how incredible defensively he still is even as his bat slows down



Plays like this you really only know the difficulty of the play if you've played the game. Watching the play, you know its a great play and looks great but if you've played you know bare handed is the only chance you have but footwork has to be perfect before you even catch it so you can be in position to throw awkwardly and still get enough on it to not short hop the first baseman. If you dont do all that perfectly, you either dont get any outs or you throw it away and your team is tied or losing. :wow:

I feel like in basketball/football, the great plays are usually so athletic that most normal people know they cant do that and could never come close but MLB players make these plays look so effortless that it can take away the appreciation people should have for the "routine" plays these guys make every night that are actually high degrees of difficulty
