Weirdo ass nikka. La and NYC has the highest tax bracket amongst NbA teams. You would make more playing elsewhere not including cost of living is higher. Unless you a star in the making or a star already your salary is eaten in Cali.

The point i was making is nobody ever brings that up when talking about Steph or Lebron or anyone that plays in NY....they never mention the tax code stinks,they only mention taxes when a nikka goes to Toronto....When Luka was traded to LA nobody mentions hes gona get fukked on taxes/capital gains.

Man I just don’t understand why the NBA doesn’t do the draft like the NFL

A trade can be agreed to 30 seconds before the pick is announced and they will switch over to the new team. None of this confusion of players with hats of teams they’ll never play for or having to announce trades 30 minutes after a pick was made

Timing and procedure. The new NBA League Year doesn't start until July 1 so all these transaction aren't actually official until then.
