The last inning was BRUTAL to sit through, but before that I had an amazing time. I wasn’t expecting Brasil to be even remotely competitive, and they were until the pitching fell apart in the 9th.
I’ve seen Brasil play live in pretty much every major football tournament, but that performance by Lucas Ramirez is my favorite Brasil sports moment that I’ve seen in person.
This event will be bigger than the World Series in a few years. MLB will need to put its arms around it and embrace it even more than its currently doing which is already significant btw.
