I love what Buggy represents: not every battle is won with fists. All the other emperors/ high bounty pirates had to brute force their way to attain their position. Buggy though ? The man was a crewmate of Gol D. Rogers and survived all these years...
But he's a whole fraud and he knows it. Yet he's quick-witted enough to seize the opportunities presented to him, gain allies and continue his con. Just with his mouthpiece.
I'm willing to bet he'll play a major role at Laugh Tale and Oda must have more surprises in stock with him.
