Not a fan of the detour, but I guess it could give us some interesting possible implications:
- It seems like there are giants that view humans as inferior, that "Sun God" was one of Hajrudin's crew and still slept on the SHs.
- I'm hoping that since the miniature is built like a replica, that there are real giant "God" animals in Elbaf but even bigger than what we've seen so far.
- I still don't see how this group would get to Elbaf before the Giants, but I really hope it's Elbaf that they break out into. I'll be curious to see how they got to Elbaf since it might have future utility.
- Nami bodied a giant with ease...the weakling trio is stronger than they seem (relatively speaking).

I am not a fan of the detour either. I was really hoping for a smooth transition into Elbaf and just going from there. I think he could have shown that the giants don't really like humans another way without the detour. I really hope that the Straw Hats are somehow on Elbaf so we can finally get the arc going.

They're doing a remake of Fishman Island that'll air during that time - One Piece Orders Special Anime Remake for Fish-Man Island Arc
Personally I'd rather see a Dressrosa remake, but
