I was thinking maybe the blood came from the fight with Luffy and Loki. It seems he can take damage if he has a contract with someone and they get hurt. He seemed hurt after Loki killed Harald. Or maybe its something environmental. He cant leave the holy land for an extended period of time because hes from the moon or something. Which would also prevent Imu from taking out everyone.

After Elbaph ends I think Loki goes to punk hazard to free those giants trapped in ice. Luffy and his crew find the man marked by flames and we start the final war shortly after.

What about them going to god valley?

I think Imu is sick (or previously injured) to the point that he cannot overexert himself. It has to be something because of the way the Elders were so concerned about him leaving. Worried to the point like they weren't going to see him again. Well everyone except for Garland, which was kinda sus.

I can't imagine how all of this is going to end but definitely excited to see how it plays out. I think Killingham and Sommers are going to get a power up now that Imu is back and they will square up against Sanji and Zoro respectively. Loki is probably going to fight Imu first and we will probably get to see his hybrid form. When he finally faces Luffy, we will probably (hopefully) get a flashback or at least an idea why he keeps crashing out over Joy Boy.

My guess is that Imu can't be away from Marejois for too long without it having some kind of negative effect on him.

Would explain why the elders were so against him leaving.
