Super 6:stopitslime:

Ordinary 6 was more like it, I like Ward but he's overhyped and hiding in a week division refusing to move up or down

stop frontin skip...super 6 was some good shyt...the fights were largely entertaning and all the 360 behind the scene eps rivalled the top 24/7's shown on HBO

What did fukk did those fighters do to be touted so highly, answer that

And Ward gets P4P recognition after beating a few ordinary fighters, fighters who he had the cards stacked against. Don't get dragged into the hype my friend, decent fights but underwhelming looking back when the smoke clears

There's a blueprint to this Hype job shyt:heh:

Unfortunately for Ward the public aint buy it one bit, had he been on HBO during them super 6 days, he probably could of had a legacy fight vs a BHOP or Martinez, but nothing...............

I dont give a fawk how much he makes, its who he fights that matter. This is terrible for boxing imo. If he can make this much cherry picking, all the other stars will follow suite, which is going to prevent big matchups from happening in the future.

Yes, I'm

No see, you made excellent and true points. Lemme address from this angle though.

Lebron couldve went to the Clippers and teamed up with Blake Griffin...who hadnt yet played and likely still have gotten Chris Paul to come there. That couldve been a championship team right there. Lebron said "I am not here to save franchises" I was upset with him. Even more so when he decided to join the Heat. Was it good for B-Ball? Would many others attempt to follow suit? Well, Melo and Stat teamed up. Dwight teamed up with Kobe. There will be more.

What you are saying is true, but passé.

Boxing is already fukked up! And Floyd isnt the one who did it. Yall act like Floyd is the first. No. SRL from my recollection is the first guy to employ all of these marketing maneuvers and selective opponents.

Lebron plays for himself just like FMJ says he fights only for FMJ. Still, they have to be the best at their jobs. That means winning and defending championships. Floyd is a champion in two weight divisions. He just defended in one and he will defend in the other. If he doesnt, oh well. Go to his neighborhood and fight him. Its not like he needs Canelo. What the fukk for?

You cant blame an athlete for the state of the game. You can blame him for participation but its a moot point because everyone doe it. Only everyone else seems to be exempt from obligation or scrutiny.

So Rosado got cheated twice :ohhh:

Fight card 2morrow in Australia; headlining match is Will Tomlinson (undefeated Aussie IBO Junior Lightweight champion) vs Malcolm Klassen (Gave Robert Guerrero a very tough fight couple years back)

But the fighter of interest to me is a guy by the name of Sipho "Tsunami" Taliwe fighting.......some guy, I have no idea who he is, but I think Sipho Taliwe is worth checking out if you can. He's currently the WBC international Junior Lightweight champion, for what it's worth and straight upset and embarrassed the heavily favored former champ Mzonke Fana. From what I hear he's Africa's best kept secret......we'll have to see......

All I know is the card starts at 6am Eastern Time, on Australian Fox Sports 3 HD/Sports Play......something like 2 different channels that show the same shyt, IDK go figure that one out

I'll try to provide a stream if I find one

Mayweather is an SPECIAL (elite) fighter.

At this point in his career, special fighters should only fight other special fighters.

Other special fighters: pacquiao, martinez, canelo

For a guy calling himself the best fighter ever, how can he retire without fighting these guys. The three aforementioned would make legacy fights. At this point in Mayweather's career where we already know hes in the HOF, fights against no hoper mandatories like Guerrero aren't necessary.

He wants to be the best then he has to do what other greats like SRR, SRL and Ali have done which is fight another great fighter while having a weight disadvantage or being in a position of vulnerability.

I agree, but as someone once said, it was unfortunate that Terry Norris was a killer in his prime but never had any other killers to fight during his reign.

What killers are there for Floyd to face? Pac? the fight can never be made because one thinks he is as big as the other, or at least thought that. Martinez? he would have to come down. You are asking too much of both fighters I believe, but definitely Floyd as he wont weigh in at 154 and Sergio would rehydrate. That leaves Canelo. What makes him a killer? What makes him special? He calls up WWs and beats em down. Only beat one really good fighter at his own weight and had problems doing that.

Lastly, one thing I hate about sports, individual sports in particular is....people dont deem you great until you have lost and come back from a loss. That logic is so flawed. You are saying you have to see someone lose before you can tell how good they are. Yet an undefeated fighter who is a class above all others will have every excuse against him, namely....that he fights in a weak era. There is no competition. Thats a misnomer. There is no competition for THAT fighter.

I ask, how can you measure opposition of an undefeated fighter when no one can beat that fighter?

]That was a direct quote straight from Floyds mouth... "if Martinez can make 150"
[/B]
In another interview when asked about a fight with Sergio, Floydie suggested Sergio moved up to 168 instead

:jawalrus: faggit

:rudy:

What was said before the bolded floyd quote? Link the vid please . . The interviewer mentioned that Sergio would come to 150 to fight floyd - floyd never made the suggestion or pushed for it. You pick and choose what works for your BS arguments, its pathetic and tragic. Its been months man, most pactards have come to terms with :deadmanny: . Go for a walk son, this floyd hate is probably taking years off your life :heh:

:russ: at this nikka saying ordinary 6.

I can't front, the tourney was good for the sport, but it took to damn long and you only got really one good fight out of it (Froch/Kessler) I'm not saying the others were bad fights cuz they were aight, but nothing blew me away. I did like how Dirrell handled Abraham before that shyt ended though.

The Bantam tournament >>>super 6.
Most of those fights were entertaining and Mares went on to do bigger things to me than Ward has. It's just that he's at a smaller weight division where nikkas don't care or overlook dudes.
