After he beat who, the measuring stick Zab Judah a 15 loss fighter doing what the boogeyman cant, lets not try to act like he was a "real" champ beforehand

What I seen from Lucas in that Peterson fight is although he can't cut off the ring that good(ok at best) he does pressure well.

Also he picks off a lot punches off his glove. Those jabs from Lamont wasn't getting through.

He fights zab or Alexander again he fukks them up. The main problem he had in those fights is he started to late.

there is a reason why he started late though breh. for one, the head movement and jab of Zab gave him problems, he wasnt able to walk straight in. same thing would happen next time. because once Judah tires, LM can get closer.

the jab and distance of Alexander bothered him early. he wasnt able to close the gap til later in the fight.

early in both fights, he had a problem with the speed. it took him a while to adjust, then he had to let them get winded a bit. both of them were fighting a very good paces and the jab bothered him. Peterson doesnt have the defense those two have. I see him square up a lot and he does NOT move his head, just puts on his earmuffs. I gave Peterson a bit too much credit as far as his boxing ability. he obviously fights the way he does because he isnt that great a boxer.

Tito destroys Vargas N it's Vargas was too green ignoring the fact he called out Tito was the champion N had Ws over Winky N Quartey

Floyd kos Hattom who people swore he was duckin N its Hatton was nothing special and small

Floyd beats Shane who he ducked was scared of almost got ktfo N Shane was

beats Cotto N its Cotto was drained had no trainer ruined by Margs

Garcia knocks Khan tf out N its khans chin is glass he just lost to peterson

It can literally be done for every fight

That's why when people cry bout Floyd "ducking" Margarito or Pwill it cracks me up cuz the same people would say Margarito lost to Williams he never beat anybody...or PWill lost to Quintana he fights small N dumb

Im tired of some of yall acting like his losses to Zab and Devon werent questionable.


Those were close fights (I thought Lucas won em both)

my issue with them being questionable is at least two fold.

one....they were both close fights. Matthysse didnt do enough to win cleanly.

two....the reason why people think Matthysse won both of those fights is actually not based on real scoring. LM won his rounds bigger than Zab or Devon and of course the KD's were 10-8 rounds. but he questionably lost more rounds or gave up the benefit of the doubt in the close rounds.

LM is a slow starter because when guys are fresh he has to adjust to the speed. He looked great against Peterson because of how Peterson stood close to him and straight up. Had LM won just one or two more of the earlier rounds, he'd won both fights. The fact is....he lost some early rounds in both fights. Fighters can hang with him if they dont keep getting KD's or KOed.

the thing you have to pay close attention to is when LM didnt finish off Zab or Devon they were able to fight back effectively even winning some rounds/moments AFTER they had been hurt.

I dont think you ever hear me saying stuff like that. I try to be objective and not do revisionists history. A lot of the fights you name, I called the outcome....and I dont like built in excuses. Yall did the same thing with Ward, saying he beat a drained Dawson. I am a Dawson fan and wanted him to win but even if that fight was at 175 he wouldve lost the way I saw it. His boxing ability and adjustment making was exposed. He was wide with his shots and let Andre get in his personal space.

I told people Hatton aint have shyt for :moneymay: not because of the size, even though I told people :moneymay: is much stronger than the bullying Hatton.

:moneymay: fought Mosley too late. point blank. I dont know what the real story was but it seemed that :moneymay: was more reluctant to face Mosley. Nevertheless, :moneymay: is a better boxer than Mosley and wouldve been the favorite to win when both were closer to their primes.

Tito over Vargas...full credit to Tito...I said before fight Vargas too easy to hit

Manny over Cotto....full credit to Manny...I said pre-fight Cotto too slow

Garcia over Khan....well, Khan doesnt have the best chin but I give full credit to Garcia because Khan had heart. Khan was working him too. Khan survived Maidana....so who thought he'd be KOed by Garcia? Team Khan wouldnt have taken that fight if they werent confident. Wasnt Khan the favorite?

The Zab fight was scored right on the money, no complaints there

But that DA fight............horseshyt

I respect your opinion breh...but if I go back and score that fight, it was a close fight. There were a lot of rounds that shouldve been scored even...but Devon got the benefit of the doubt. The Compubox numbers substantiate this. Devon outlanded LM in half the rounds, although LM landed more shots....he only outlanded in 3 rounds. LM was busier, but less accurate. Devon landed more power shots at a higher clip. All of this shyt is subjective to say the least but its what the judges see or dont see. LM had a big round 7 and 8 and thats where his lead in punch numbers come from.

I thought it was a draw, but at best a 1-point win for LM. That's not a robbery to me. Do you think LM won by more than a point?
