Yea just like Cotto came down to 147 last year..... oh wait

Cotto earned calling Mayweather up to his weight for that fight, Cotto is the number 3 PPV behind May and Pac, Mayweather had to respect that, Canelo hasnt even had a PPV, 66% of boxing press felt he lost his breakthrough win, he cant dictate shyt, not to mention Canelo was at WW less than 2 years ago...................................

not even worth posting a link but WBA talmbout promoters want interim titles so they are looking into it.

:heh:

I am so sick of these organizations. So the WBA soon may have 3 champions. Super, Regular, and Interim.

In other news the WBC wants Canelo to give up either his WBA or WBC title without any real reasoning why. Only saying they sanction defenses, not unifications.

I wouldnt have a problem with the belts if they were like they had been in Tyson's day. It made fighters actually have to fight because you had to fulfill the mandatory for each title. Now you will be lucky to have even one mando fulfilled. Fighters would fight 2-4 times a year.

Fact is, it doesnt mean much today to be unified or undisputed.

the bottom line is this....Floyd fought Oscar and Cotto because they were small JMWs. Canelo is probably a MW. Call it a duck or whatever but thats just the facts. Floyd is a WW. He has always weighed in closer to WW than to JMW. If its like that then its no different if Canelo asks Manny to let him come in at 154. Floyd is gonna whip Canelo's ass regardless of the weight but he wont allow himself to be dictated to by a fighter who really just came on the scene and has not a leg to stand on. Martinez is the only fighter in range who could even list any demands and hell JCCjr overpowers him in negotiations....so what has Canelo done to warrant him asking for even one tiny concession?

Just like Ghost and Ortiz who never had a ppv fight

Trout cool, he beat Cotto, but he lost to Canelo... 66% my ass

Look at Trout yall
canelo-trout-o.gif

Floydie 2012 "If I fight Cotto, I want him to be at a weight where he's comfortable" 154

Floydie 2013 "Canelo has to come down to 147"

What it all boils down to, since the bytch cant completely dominate fighters at 154 like he does at 147, now he wants to stay at 147... some champion huh... even though he decisively beat Oscar and Cotto at JMW because that's the weight their comfortable at now he don't want it with Canelo at 154... when will the hoe shyt stop??

On some real shyt, Canelo ain't all that big of a dude. He's just some short stocky ginger kid who can punch a bit. He's made for 154 imo. He's too short for 160 and I don't think he'd fare to well if he were to move up. He doesn't even impose his size or bully the smaller guys he fought. He just overwhelmed them with power shots and combos.

A guy like Kid Chocolate would tower over Canelo and literally take dude's head off. Canelo ain't built for those types of guys. Andy Lee would prolly give Canelo that work.

In all honesty Floyd just needs to suck it up, move to 154 and take dude's belt and 0 away. I don't think he dominates like he did with the Ghost, but I still see him winning.

if he breaks the rehydration clause, it's not like they are gonna calll off the fight
use common sense man
floyd is a welterweight
if he choses to go up in weight for a fight or two, den that's up to him, but it's not his weight and he shouldn't have to go up there on a regular basis

just admit you want him to lose someway, somehow

Nah I just want him to stop being a bytch and prove hes greater than Sugar Ray Robinson, Tyson, Ali, and Leonard like he claims...

If he loses, he loses
