Before Saturday's fight, I had Wilder losing to Stiverne/Arreola.

After, I have Wilder winning by KO. Stiverne likes to stand against the ropes and absorb punches, which plays into Wilder's strengths. Stiverne's stamina was REALLY telling in that fight....how you gassing only 3 rounds in?:scusthov:
The flip side of that though is that Wilder has never had a dude who can eat a punch and then throw back some serious heat. He has feasted off a bunch of bums who crumbled the first time WIlder swung at them.

I see a lot of you guys like broner on here. I still like him too but I think his problems stem from him fighting flat footed and having holes in his philly shell defense. I would also like to see him with little bit more head movement. Broner also seems he has lost some of his power.

His last 3 fights have been against Paulie Malignaggi (who's only been down twice in his entire career prior to the Broner fight and never KO'd or dropped multiple times in 1 fight until he fought a former SMW in his last fight), Marcos Maidana (who Broner DID hurt according to Maidana himself), and Carlos Molina (who has never been dropped or KO'd in his career).

His power is still there, just not as pronounced as it was at 130 & 135 against smaller opponents. When you move up in weight as a smaller fighter, you dont usually continue KO'ing good boxers or bigger fighters. Example, Judah is known for his power, but the ONLY "good" fighter he KO'd was Cory Spinks:manny:
One thing I can say about him is that dude has heart. That's the one thing I came away impressed with after the fight with marcos. :salute:

I agree:obama:

Floyd on the other hand, I thought completely dominated marcos once you watch it slowed down.
@LauderdaleBoss :bryan:

Floyd could have stood in the middle of the ring and tagged chino all night long. also marcos was very dirty during that fight...dude hit may in the back of the head about 50 times. but the ref didn't take no points away from him. I think Floyd should fight porter/Thurman etc next.. Maybe he could fight pac(last big score) at 49-0 if dude ever leaves arum. heard that Floyd will not do business with arum because he owes him millions.:yeshrug:

Floyd aint fighting Porter or Thurman.....too risky to fight Porter who is the black athletic, bigger, stronger version of Maidana. And Thurman hits much harder than Maidana. I cant see Floyd taking those fights

Sad to see andre ward in a stupid hiatus with legal issues. him and Floyd would be a great fight if they were in the same weight division. also its too bad the ggg/Chavez fight might not happen.:sadcam:

Andre Ward would destroy Floyd at 160. He's much too big.

like I said love wilder power but stiverne can take a punch, so its not an automatic win for him like some think. I mean at one point arreola hit him with a 8 punch power combo and dude took it.:ehh:

also when I watched the press conference, don king was funny as fukk with that "im and black proud routine". "talk to em with ya heart and understanding" this nikka is a a first class fool with his wild fire hair.:mjlol: :dead: :camby:

Arreola gassed too against Stiverne. I dont know if Wilder would gas, plus his advantages are extreme. ONLY thing Stiverne has on him is the fact that he fought a fighter like Arreola to me. Other than that, the fact Wilder is still "hype", Im picking Wilder

taller fighters have a disadvantage against shorter fighters that when they throw a right hand they move right into right hands but the shorter fighter can go under their right hand. that counter right hand that haye hit wilder with in sparring it was the same counter right hand that knocked him out in the amateurs. its the same counter right hand that aaron davis knocked out his trainer mark breland with in 1990

thats a punch i think wilder can always get hit with because he is always trying to throw just that big right hand from across the ring and a fighter that can know well enough to figure this out he can get under it and counter it. wilder has been hit with that kind of shot before, he's going to get hit with it again.

Peterson and Judah turn down a fight with Herrera, SubwaySet don't want it. They can't take the heat from....

#HerreraHell

SubwaySet?:mjlol:

#HerreraHell? Let Danny vacate the WBA 140 belt and Broner would fight Herrera for it:demonic:

yeah but wilder has never had to go the distance either. so its still a big question mark.

also if you don't think Floyd will take those fights, who do you think he will fight?

Maidana in September

Khan in May or Danny Garcia if Khan loses prior to May

Manny Pacquiao in September 15....I hope:to:
