Very entertaining card breh. Roy was also spot on with his commentary throughout the broadcast.
Rosa/Devalle was rough, but a real good scrap. Fight could have very well been a draw. Both dudes landed some heavy leather. Rosa was like a Rican Shawn Porter in their. Hi chin kinda suspect though. He got buzzed a lot, but he just keeps coming. Ditto for Devalle.
Fortuna/Rodrieguz was even better to me since it didn't have all the rough house shyt, but still hard shots going back an forth. Fortuna seems like a Russell Jr lite. He throws quick bombs and mean combos, but his defense is sub par as hell. If nikkas think Stevenson has bad defense than this dudes defense is worse than that. If he polishes up on everything he can be a real force. Right now he's a tough outing for anybody. That one two one he throws is sick.
Overall a real good boxing weekend.

Anytime someone can get 20k or more seats filled in an arena in America is an accomplishment.

Yeah, Rosa was dirty as hell. Low blows, hitting behind the head, on the break...but he absolutely looked like the better fighter vs Devalle. He landed the cleaner punches, and seemed to have better ring generalship. Delvalle is just a whirlwind. His defense sucks, he throws tons of punches, he has a good chin, and he never stops coming. Right now he needs a lot of work to compete with the better fighters in the division, but his style forces whoever he is matched against to be on their A game.
Fortuna is interesting. His athleticism and speed look excellent. His defense is horrendous and his overall boxing ring generalship is bad as well. They were talking about him wanting Mikey Garcia in his next fight...
...I think he needs to be moved along slower than that and work on his deficiencies.

but yeah he is young still so hopefully he can sharpen up his defense but he looked okay, will be definitely keeping up with him and see where he goes. They said it was the third time he had a cut in that same eye hopefully that won't be a problem every fight
