Floyd will likely be retired by the time Ward finally gets around to actually fighting againClearly because the #2 moving up to #1 when that guy retires is so preposterous.

look nikka, I know that it will happen. BUT, that is contingent on a few things 1)Ward keeps winning and doesn't lose before Floyd loses and/or retires and 2)Someone doesn't bypass ward due to his long hiatus. If Floyd lost, who's to say Manny doesn't bypass Ward and take over the number 1 spot? Manny is number 3 now, correct? Bradley was 3 and lost in their rematch, so I'm guessing that catapulted him back to the number 3 spot. I'm not saying Manny deserves the spot or is better than WardClearly because the #2 moving up to #1 when that guy retires is so preposterous.

, I'm saying that most writers/pundits would have him jump Ward.

Look, here's the bottom line: I don't like you putting this shyt about him jumping to number 1 out there, because then it would mean my current favorite fighter would be done () So fukk Andre Ward (for the time being) and his number 2 status (for the time being).

MAYBE#1 when Floud retires![]()

Ward only fought 2 times in the last 3 years (Dawson in 2012 and Rodriguez in 2013) and is STILL at #2P4P......there's nothing Pacquiao or anyone can do to surpass #SOG
If Ward was gonna be "punished" on the P4P lists because of inactivity, it would've been happened. As of now, we're still sitting pretty at #2P4P and aint worried bout nuthin (*insert French Montana smiley*)
#2P4P, #SOG, #CrownUs, #SOGGang, #AintWorriedBoutNuthin![]()

Pacquiao is one solid win away from being ahead of Ward..

I like Ward, but he has never even fought another p4p guy...

Ward's inactivity is an issue..

The only reason he moved up is because Pac took a loss back in 2012..

Pac gets one more solid win, guess whats gonna happen![]()

We'll see
Carl Froch is #10 P4P and Chad Dawson was ranked #10 P4P when he fought and lost to Andre Ward.
To whom? The Boxing fan or the Boxing community
In the Boxing Community...he's highly respected and is considered one of the best 3 fighters in the world (skill wise) and is STILL ranked #2P4P with only 2 bouts in 3 years
#SOGGang doesnt know anything about losing boxing matches
#SOGGang........we aint worried bout nuthin

no slight... just my opinion...Carl Foch wasnt top 10 when Ward fought him... neither was Dawsonno slight... just my opinion...
As far as inactivity goes... its a problem dude, lets not pretend like Floyd wasn't removed from lists completely for the same reason. If Pac beats anyone else on p4p list, not only should he move past Ward, but so should Sergio and Canelo if they win they're next fights
Chad Dawson was ranked #10 P4P at the time of their fight.
Inactivity is a problem to you....the boxing fan. Inside of the sport, obviously, Ward commands tons of respect from the media, commentators, journalists, and his boxing peers which allows him to remain at his #2 position regardless.
He's fought every year since 2009 and he will fight this year as well while he continues holding his spot until Floyd retires and he moves up to #1. Let's not forget he just fought as recent as November of 2013.
