Rumors that Chavez Sr said JCC Jr would make 159 N resign with Arum to get his Green Belt back against Cotto
God please let this happen![]()
a lot of people dont think cotto beat shane and clottey. put an asterisk by those two names like you should and what do you have?
thats a difference between tito flat out destroying the fighters that he beat.
this is a good point. I thought Shane couldve took that. Clottey gave the fight away just like he did against Manny with is no letting his hands go azz
Julio is not being a very #GoodBoy.But he wouldn't re-sign when a fight with GGG was on the table![]()
I hope this is just rumors and JCC isn't actually wanting to pursue this. JCC naturally weighs 30-40 pounds more than Cotto. Go fight some guys your own size for once. Froch and GGG appear to be right on the table at 168...but nah, give me 155 lb Cotto.Rumors that Chavez Sr said JCC Jr would make 159 N resign with Arum to get his Green Belt back against Cotto

RingTV.com: Would Ward be among those you're referring to, since he has mentioned you as a potential opponent?
JC: I think that with Andre Ward, I consider him to be the best fighter in the world.

This picture has so many stories and twists.
Wasn't HBO also planning to move him up for a mega fight for Roy Jones?I grew up watching Tito and for anyone that remembers his career precisely...he wasnt a star overnight. He didnt come with all the hype that Cotto did and was relatively unknown obscure champion. Even after he beat Blocker it took him years to get to the big fights. DKP just had him in mediocre fights. It was a lot of politics involved and although it wasnt a cold war like now....it wasnt easy to get DKP vs TR fights. They had to be big fights. It took Tito about 6 years after winning a title before he became a star. It was crazy because he had beat Camacho and Carr years before DLH got to them. After the DLH fight he had a nice short run where he finally enjoyed the spotlight. He couldve been very dominant a lot longer than he was if he'd stayed at 154 longer. That wasnt the plan though. The whole campaign after the DLH fight was to win the middleweight title and to get rid of BHop for DKP.

I heard a lot of Floyd references and a lotta props coming from the HBO team on Saturday night. HBO regretting their decisions to go full steam with Arum, I see.
What were they saying?
