The myth that Broner has no defense prolly came from the same place that started the Manny is just some brawler and didn't become good until he took PEDs myth. :mjlol:

If you look hard enough, that same place has produced myths such as

Roy had no boxing skills whatsoever
Tyson was just a slugger with no heart and he never had to earn a victory in his life because he intimidated everyone.
Duran's only good win was against SRL

Real talk tho..
Yeah Rees put some hands on Broner, but dude was playing with him and was super offensive since he knew dude couldn't hurt him.

Taylor and Soliman put hands on Winky. I guess he had garbage defense too. Augustus put hands on Floyd. I guess Floyd defense is overrated.

Nobody's defense is going to be perfect every single fight since every opponent is different with a different situation.

A lot of legacies are being mislabeled lately, especially with an undefeated fighter ruling the P4P for over a decade.

If you don't have a 0 in your record, you're trash nowadays.

I stan Floyd but if he loses and people start to value the fighters with imperfect records again, it'd almost be a good thing.

http://www.boxingscene.com/malignaggi-sounds-off-on-pacquiao-drug-testing--79452

Former two-division world champion Paulie Malignaggi was very vocal on the social networks, as he discussed eight division champion Manny Pacquiao and the issue of drug testing. Pacquiao was under the microscope for a few years after rising up through several weight divisions and destroying the competition.

During the first round of negotiations to make a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., speculation grew after Pacquiao refused to agree to Mayweather's demand for random drug testing. Pacquiao is now submitting himself to random drug testing protocols, but the Filipino star has not been the same fighter who destroyed a series of elite opponents. Pacquiao has not scored a stoppage victory since 2009, when he put away Miguel Cotto. At that time, Pacquiao stopped eight of eleven opponents during his peak run through the ranks.

"I don’t give credit to guys who hide and duck from random drug testing while accomplishing things that seem pretty amazing. Pacquiao should have been the first to volunteer for those random tests when he was destroying people while constantly jumping weight classes. Instead he ducked and dodged them so no, until I see a destructive Pacquiao performance for a fight in which he submitted to random testing I will not give that credit," Malignaggi stated.

"This sport needs to be take in the right direction and a guy with his popularity should have been the first one to set the example and volunteer for it. Instead he dodged it during a time when he shouldn't. Which leads anyone to wonder if that was the whole reason for his sky rocketing to fame in the first place. So don't ask me stupid questions or make stupid comments when I'm a fighter that can look in the mirror and know I did this sh*t clean. In an era where its become a problem because people wanna be fan boys instead of opening their f***ing eyes to the problem."
