I talked to Rigo and some of his people yesterday and got a lot of good info.
He said he's willing to fight anyone at any weight from 118 up to 126 and anything to the contrary is pure bullshyt. He said he'd beat the shyt out of Chocolatito and he'd go to 118 to do it. Said he would've loved to fight Loma, but he's moving up in weight too fast and it looks like Top Rank wants Loma at 140 soon.
And apparently Donaire's people reached out for a rematch, and that could happen if they can't get Rey Flores or Oguni after his mandatory. He said he's going to ramp up his activity and could be fighting 3 to 4 times a year now, and was on pace to do so, if his previous opponents didn't pull out of the fights.
He volunteered that he's going to change his fight style and look for more KOs now, because he understands he needs to be more exciting and he has the power to hurt guys. He said they just disengage once they feel his power.
Also, for all the Leo Santa Cruz fans, Rigo said he stepped to him at some event a few years ago and asked to fight him, and LSC's response is that he'd loved to do it...but his dad won't let him.
He also told me about his teenage son, 15 I think he said, who's a 3 time National boxing champ in Cuba at 140 lbs, but is being blackballed from the Olympic team because he's on a "potential defector" watch list. shyt is crazy.

nikkas be getting an extra chance at a belt for starting that low only to physically grow into 108 and 112 divisions anyway.
