Just watched the whole Canelo fight. That kid is going straight to the top. Maybe not an all time great or anything but he's definitely gonna be the next big Mexican boxing star. His style is so fun to watch too.

Watched Maidana-Karass cause the coli was hyping it up so much :whoo: It looked like Karass was really settling into a groove there until the ref took the point away from Maidana from the low blow. He came out  after that and finished him quick. :wow: Amazing brawl

They're saying Sergio was only 167 on Saturday. Nobody knows how big Jr. was cause he refused to weigh in again.
MARTINEZ WEIGHED 167 POUNDS ON NIGHT OF NEAR SHUTOUT PERFORMANCE AGAINST CHAVEZ JR. || FIGHTHYPE

wouldn't be surprised to see sergio demand drug testing in the next one. he asked for drug testing but chavez refused. but now that sergio taxed his ass and has the belts, he might demand it next time. dude has to be using something to cut off that weight. cause we know damn well he aint training that hard.

:shaq2: if they do a rematch. If Sergio doesn't fight Floyd or Canelo next then :pacspit:

floyd said he's not interested in fighting right now. plus no way he fights sergio after being locked up and not doing much training. and goldenboy would never put canelo in there with martinez. they're going after cotto right now.

I don't believe Floyd. :manny: Maybe, it'll just be a 'tune-up' fight but I would bet money on Floyd fighting in May.

Mayweather vs. Martinez
Cotto vs. Canelo

I still wanna see Chavez fight Pavlik, they remind me of eachother (Tall with power, go to the head and body but slow predictable foot work that makes them look bad against fighters with movement). Pavliks a little washed up but i think it'd still be a good entertaining fight

But u must not had seen Sergio in his corner before the 12th round, he was very tired.

Chavez was trying to set his feet before he threw punches, he needed to just punch even if that meant he'd be even more open to counter opportunities. If he had Martinez tired a few rounds earlier, he coulda won.

Even with that being said im not sure how much credit i would even give Chavez for knocking out Martinez considering hes a cruiserweight

martinez wasn't letting chavez throw punches thats the thing

i think that fight is DEFINITELY realistic and winnable fight for either fighter.

Well I agree with that but I still think Chavez coulda tried harder to chase Martinez down and get a body shot in here and there. And he showed no knowledge of how to cut off Martinez. Sergio had his lead foot outside of Chavez's the whole fight. A few small adjustments and i think Chavez Jr coulda done enough damage earlier in the fight to stop Martinez late.

i think that fight is DEFINITELY realistic and winnable fight for either fighter.

Im surprised to see im not alone here no homo, i mean its not really a fight that would prove a whole lot but it would be entertaining and i think fans would pay to see it

fukk it, if Sergio really allows a rematch he better not accept it in fukking Texas.

If Junior wants a rematch, make him go to Argentina :jawalrus:

I guarantee you that 90,000 people will fill Monumental de River to watch Maravisha. He's gained A LOT of fans in the last couple of years - and specially in the last 8-10 months - he's made an amazing job promoting himself since the Williams KO and the argentine press will do everything in their power to make Sergio look like the biggest sports star ever (they do this with absolute nobodies in soccer, and you'd be amazed at what they can do when they promote someone successful).

Throw in Lucas vs Chino in the undercard and we are set :win:
