Real Talk, after seeing what happened to Dawson with the whole "Yeah I can fight at 168 blah blah etc..." and then turning around only to look and fight like some weight drained zombie, I really don't want to see Martinez move down in weight to fight anybody.

If cats want to fight for the middleweight title they need to move up. Sure Martinez and his people say they can make 154 but I don't believe them. Sergio is a lot thicker and more muscular now than he was a couple years ago. I also remember him bytching about having to make 158lbs for the P-Will rematch. If he complaining about making 158, I know he ain't trying to make 154lbs.

154 is a BIG maybe IMO but no way he drops to 150 healthy at his age.

Gotta love that Cotto vs Austin Trout is being called a tune up.

i think because of his last outing against roderiguez people think cotto's going to go right through trout. Trout can BOX period! he is skilled but untested. one thing he does have over cotto is the size advantage.

trout is slick southpaw, he's relies ALOT on his jab, footwork is good but DON"T through enough straight left hands or even right hook for me. i don't think this is no pushover for cotto even though he has had his way with slick southpaws in the past (judah, quintana).

Remember this Sergio interview a year ago when he went in? :lolbron:

Dude is funny. He wants cotto to fight cotto but don't want know of wall. I'm not hearing that he to all for ward. Dude was 176 at 30 day weigh in(he did this a couple times).

As for Canelo I don't want to see Carlos Q. Give him somebody real at 154. He should be fighting Molina or James Kirland.

As for jmm vs pacq 500. Pacq won't get the decision IMO. He better knock jmm out. DDR legacy will be shyt when his career is over.

As for Floyd, fukk that nikka. He either needs to fight or stay his ass retired. He wants dudes to hate him and love him all at the same time.

Also ward should be p4p number 1

I don't think he wants shyt...in fact, would it surprise anyone if he up and retired randomly before 2013?

its a shame that somebody who has an ATG style of fighting has such a shytty legacy careerwise...ive said it before and ill say it again im not a fan or can't get behind any fighters who don't like to fight...which is why when the day comes where father time beats floyd (provided he doesn't retire first) ill just be like :manny:

Not at all.. Infact that's been his typical pattern for years... As soon as other names are blowing up in his division, he all of a sudden "retires" or "goes on vacation"... waits for (insert names) to beat each other up or wear themselves down, comes back and then takes a tune up fight... Vacates all his titles or doesn't pay sanctioning fees so that way he doesn't have to defend any titles... This is who we want to give a p4p title to

He 'retired' last time to give his hands some proper time to heal.

The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that on September 9th police responded to a 911 call from a woman who was allegedly involved in a “verbal altercation” with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Floyd then allegedly fled with one of the woman’s personal possessions. The victim is believed to be the mother of one of Mayweather’s children, with whom Floyd has previously pled guilty to two counts of domestic battery in 2002. It is not known if this is considered to violate the terms of Floyd’s probation.

You can't be serious :why:

Behind You
Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather was involved in a "verbal altercation" with an unnamed woman at the residence of Melissa Brim, the mother of Mayweather's daughter, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The incident took place around 2 a.m. on Sept. 9 at the home of Brim, where police responded to the scene following a 911 call placed at the home.

Mayweather reportedly left the scene before the police showed up with a personal item belonging to the unknown woman, but the item was later returned by one of Mayweather's associates and charges were not filed.

According the Review-Journal report, Mayweather has had two violent incidents with Brim in the past.

The first was in February of 2001, where Mayweather hit Brim in the jaw with a car door before punching her in the face and body. The second incident took place five months after the February attack, where Mayweather ended up hitting Brim in the neck.

"Money" was charged with two counts of domestic battery for the two incidents. In 2002, he plead guilty to both counts in addition to a separate count not connected with the previous two. Mayweather received a six-month suspended jail sentence, a $3,000 fine, two days house arrest and 48 hours of community service after accepting a plea agreement.

Mayweather was just released from jail on Aug. 3 (per ESPN.com) after spending two months behind bars for a separate domestic battery charge against Josie Harris, the mother of two of his three children.

Mayweather is currently on year-long probation as result of the domestic battery charge, to which the terms include staying out of trouble, according to the Review-Journal report.
Floyd Mayweather: 'Money' Involved in 'Verbal Altercation' with Woman | Bleacher Report

First of all Floyd should never have any in person contact with his baby moms at all. He should be sending someone to her spot to get his kids and all correspondence should go through a thrid party.
And what the fukk is he doing at this chick's house at 2 in the morning arguing with some other broad?

love him as a boxer and how mad people get about him

as a person, I can care less and he is clearly an idiot of the highest order.

Best case scenario
Geale and GGG fight each other and the winner fights Martinez

yeah, this has been my feeling too. Id rather Sergio stay at middleweight. Fight where you are comfortable and go to work there.
