A year? He lost the first fight and the rematch was 4 months later. He didnt waste "damn near a year". After the Quintana rematch and he got his belt back he couldnt find anybody to fight. He beat Andy Kolle still couldnt find a fight at 147 (Pacquiao was at 147 by late 2008) so he had to move up to 154.

Please stop it. Dont try your s**t with someone who actually knows what he's talking about
