GGG is a bigger draw than Chavez...face it. Chavez at this point is fighting on non-US networks & quitting fights.


You claimed he deserved a split....but GGG didnt. Instead, he got offered a 3x less money and a quota to reach before he gets anything else from Canelo

He gets credit, because again, his name brought viewers (and he received a PPV split from Floyd even though he never headlined a PPV before) as the B-Side, but he doesn't get to shout them numbers like he was a-side.....unless we allowing Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana, & Berto the same when they face someone.


Remember, Floyd was doing millions prior to Canelo as A-Side...Canelo has yet to reach 600k as A-Side

Canelo doesn't have to dare to be great right this second. All the dudes they said he wouldn't fight he has, and now they're trying to stall his fight against triple g because of dollars. Yea JCC Jr because of his last name, his pops etc etc will end up being a bigger PPV fight. Where do y'all think these extra 500k PPV buys are gonna come from for triple g/Canelo? Anyway you can say not taking $15MM is not ducking--or trying to cash out etc.. , but I strongly strongly disagree.

Also bringing up manny fighting other TR fighters has nothing to do with this. Floyd got 300MM to Pacs 100MM and nobody complains about that breh

I actually believe canelo-little could do 700k+. even though canelo usually does 300k vs nobodies, I don't think that's his ceiling. he did 300k with lara way back. people were surprised at the number considering lara had no drawing power. but competitive fights bring out more casuals. I think if he had fought lara today it would do around 400k. I think if he fought jermall charlo right now, it would do over 400k. that don't mean charlo has 100k of ppv drawing power. but people would tune in cause they know it would be competitive and because they know canelo could actually lose. I think every superstar fighter has hardcore fans and regular fans. the harcores will buy their fights no matter what. the regular fans will only buy it if it's competitive. and that's why only the hardcore nelo fans bought the liam smith fight....they knew liam smith had no chance. overall, canelo definitely got a stronger fan base than 300k though. that's just his absolute base. and a canelo-little g fight will bring out the hardcores, regular, and the casual fans who don't even watch boxing. shyt would be promoted on every network and the word of mouth alone would be insane.



now canelo-chavez is a different animal. this shyt could land anywhere from 700k to over 1 mil easy. with the huge mexican population in america there's just no telling. either way, the gate alone is gonna be fukkin massive. could be one of the hugest in boxing history. especially if they held it at cowboy stadium. they could charge out the ass and still sell that shyt out. 80k people in attendance to watch a boxing fight.....the energy in that bytch would be godly
