HBO is probably getting out. Boxing doesn't really make money like that unless they get a star.

That would be crazy though...

HBO shows boxing for a pretty long time... I don't think that they would just kick off a more decades long tradition cause at this very moment business doesn't go the way they want...

Plus... I think aside of May and Pac is done already the sport is actually heating up on the low in the last few years and good fights already starting to get made more than 3-4 years ago imo... Also lots of promising, new guys now...

@((ReFleX)) matter of fact breh, Canelo should start calling Floyd out for Mexican Independence Day since Floyd is tip-toeing the retirement/not retired line now.

Canelo deserves every chance to run that back imo....he was 23, had to weigh in at 152lbs, and had Trout as the best he ever faced up until that point.

I would like to see how Canelo does now after having faced Floyd, Khan, Lara, and Cotto...fights in which he's now showing tremendous growth in actual "skill" after facing all of em. He doesn't even gas anymore:yeshrug:

27 year old Canelo vs Floyd > Floyd vs McGregor or Floyd vs Pacquiao 2 again imo

Same outcome

Still flat footed, still has periods of inactivity in the ring

And yeah he weighed in at 152 but you know damn well he entered that ring at at least 165lbs :scust:

AB wouldn't appreciate seeing his own fans try to discredit his mentor/big brothers display of dominance

He'll spank GGG in the ring and further cement the title of TBE

git git git graaah :desiigner:

Purses are too high. For 5 million on one match that gets a million viewers, they could make an episode of a show and potentially get waaay more.

Can't le though... HBO has one of the best roster of shows btw.

If they would only have the Wire I'd already love them but they have really a strong af roster

They shouldn't scrap boxing because of that though I mean if the two could get along so far why can't they get along in the future?

He's much better than he was when he faced Floyd. He didn't even know to go to the body to stop all the over movement.....he learned that after beating Lara:obama:

And yeah he weighed in at 152 but you know damn well he entered that ring at at least 165lbs :scust:

Making weight is more important, which means he had to shred his body down an extra 2lbs more than normal....and he was already a huge 154lber. Those extra 2lbs sap your stamina as well:yeshrug:

AB wouldn't appreciate seeing his own fans try to discredit his mentor/big brothers display of dominance

AB? He's done:camby:

We back talking about "The Problem":ahh:

Maybe...maybe not:manny:

I'd prefer to see Floyd rematch Canelo instead though:yeshrug:

While Arum is pleased to have a date for Lomachenko and Gvozdyk, he said HBO passed on a March doubleheader he proposed that would have featured featherweight titlistOscar Valdez -- possibly against former titleholder Nonito Donaire -- in the main event and super middleweight titlist Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez against undefeated up-and-comer Jesse Hart in the co-feature.

“They could have that card for less than a million dollars, but they passed,” said Arum.

He dictates the prices, that's what a cartel is about :pachaha: Chavez plays no games either though...

Jalisco vs Sinaloa :whoo::troll:

A 164.5 lb catchweight is straight trolling imo:heh:

They probably seen that Chavez made 168 pretty decently last time, figured that 165 would be a stretch........and then took off an additional .5lbs just to make sure Chavez is a walking zombie:russ:

He does call the shots though, it's up to JCC Jr to accept or reject:yeshrug:

I don't really see how considering floyd completely dominated canelo. little g steamrolling canelo to a ko is basically the equivalent to floyd giving canelo a 12 round boxing lesson. floyd gets decisions. little g gets ko's. to me, that floyd performance vs canelo might just be my top floyd performance ever. dude really channeled pretty boy floyd in that fight. I mean dude beat the shyt out of canelo something serious. which left me all the more impressed with how canelo never quit or gave up. dude kept trying to the very last minute. that's when I knew he was destined for greatness. I don't think there's anything little g could do to canelo that could take the luster off that floyd performance. the shyt was godly.

shyt. even speaking in hypotheticals, it's hilarious to even consider little g steamrolling canelo :mjlol:
Easily a top 3 Floyd performance; speed, pop, defense, strength, counters were all on point; that fight made it obvious to me that Floyd was cutting to make ww though; thereafter he started play scale games, complaining of dehydration and hiding his weight; he was just too small to constaly take punishment from dudes cutting from 175-180 at 154....Canelo was game Floyd just had a answer for everything instantly....

Off tape of the Floyd Canelo fight; id bet my house GGG troubles Canelo, Canelo from the opening bell was throw off with the ring being cut on him, and his slow feet couldn't adjust, on top off that Floyd sat his head in Canelo chest backed him up and hurt him numerous times; had he not fouled 2-3 times he would of tasted the canvas imo
