Why can't Cuban fighters get their shyt together?

There's some fukkery around almost every one of them. Why is that? Mostly they do bad business decisions, like Gamboa with 50, Rigo with Caribe, Lara has the background but not the style, Ortiz' career was also a mess maybe it will change now with Hearn though. Barthelemy has the backing too with him being a PBC fighter but he just isn't active enough, Dorticos (cw) is yet again with Caribe, Solis was overweight and unprofessional...
Hell, now as I think of it the only exceptions from current Cuban fighters is Sulivan Barrera and Yunieski Gonzalez, Barthelemy too if I'm light hearted but his 2016 inactivity is bad.
So why is that? Why so few Cuban fighters can handle their career normally?

Because they get treated poorly due to their fighting style
The casual fan doesn't respect The Cuban School Of Boxing. It's a boring style to them, so the TV networks don't show their fights, which means the promoters wont be able get them fights bc nobody wants to face a tough opponent the networks wont consider airing, which makes them inactive, which makes them forgotten, which effects their money.

in the past some come over here and lose their discipline and their talent goes down (*cough* juan carlos gomez*cough*)..or they never evolve their style into a more pro style (plenty of cuban fighters)

Arum: I Met With Marquez - He Said He'll NEVER Fight Pacquiao

Last week, former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez told reporters that he'll never take part in a fifth fight with career rival Manny Pacquiao, who currently holds the WBO welterweight title.
Marquez even went as far as to say that he'd reject a potential offer of "$100 million dollars" to take the fight.
The two boxers first collided in 2004, with a controversial twelve round draw after Marquez survived a first round that saw him get dropped three times.

A rematch took place in 2008, with Pacquiao winning a controversial twelve round split decision. Pacquiao secured another controversial decision win in their 2011 trilogy fight. But the fourth meeting saw both fighters go down, before Marquez knocked Pacquiao out cold in the sixth and final round.
According to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who works with both boxers, he recently had a meeting with Marquez and the Mexican veteran made it clear that he would never fight Pacquiao again.
Marquez, inactive since May of 2014, is looking to have one final career fight before ending his Hall of Fame run.
“Marquez came to see us with his lawyer and he told me that under no circumstances, no matter what money it is, he won’t fight Manny Pacquiao. He didn’t say a hundred million but under no circumstances, he is not going to fight. The fight will never happen, according to Marquez. He is not interested,” Arum told The Manila Times.

Preach brother that's my main beef with rigo and why I don't feel bad that he's in his situation that he put himself in your in charge of your own career choices in boxing when it comes to picking and choosing your own management and promotions and yet this fool chooses the worst of both worlds smh when he was a free agent and harmony was signing up every top 122 in the world that was available rigo should have been willingly to sign with him whatever the contract was because at this point and like I said before and boxer signing with a start up boxing company in roc nation is a mistake besides ward to a certain extent

WBC Prez: Mikey Garcia vs. Jorge Linares - It Has To Happen!

The President of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Mauricio Sulaiman, believes Mexican-American Mikey Garcia will become the next top superstar in the sport.
Last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Garcia became the WBC lightweight world champion with a spectacular third round knockout of previously undefeated Montenegrin Dejan Zlaticanin in a Showtime televised attraction.
"I my opinion, Garcia will be the next idol in the boxing world. He is a very strong, strong boxer. He has everything: boxing, stamina, punching ability and charisma, so I know he's going to have great success for years to come and we'll be talking about him in the same way that we talked about [Manny] Pacquiao and [Floyd] Mayweather," Sulaiman said.
Sulaiman wants to clear the up the big debate at 135-pounds - who is the real WBC lightweight champion?
The beltholder was Jorge Linares of Venezuela. He was made the WBC "champion in recess" after suffering a bad hand injury which made him unavailable to make a mandatory defense against Dejan, who eventually captured the vacant championship.
Linares, who now holds the WBA world title and the WBC Diamond title at 135, faces Anthony Crolla in a rematch on March 25 in Manchester. The first fight was close and had good action, but Linares was the better man.
Provided Linares wins the rematch, Sulaiman will look to have him face Garcia to set a single WBC champion at 135.
"That is the fight that must happen, Linares with Mikey, so that there is only one champion," Sulaiman said.
Garcia (36-0, 30 KOs) vs. Linares (41-3, 27 KOs) would be an interesting fight, because all three of Linares' defeats came at the hands of Mexican fighters - a nd all three of the defeats came by way of knockout.

To me that fight would resemble Barrera vs Marquez with a KO possibility. When Linares is on though he's mad fun to watch & his combos are insane. His speed & footwork could give Mikey problems

Kell Brook-Errol Spence deal ‘very close’

A DEAL for Kell Brook to defend his IBF welterweight title against mandatory challenger Errol Spence is ‘very close’ according to his promoter, Eddie Hearn.
The IBF ordered negotiations for the bout, which will go to purse bids tomorrow if no deal is struck between the two teams.
After a fight with Amir Khan once again failed to materialise, Hearn directed his attention toward a meeting with unbeaten Spence.
“We’ve got a purse bids date tomorrow (February 7) but we’ve asked for a week’s extension from the IBF because I feel we’re very close to making a deal,” Hearn told Boxing News.
If negotiations did go to a purse bid, Brook would get 75 per cent of the winning bid and Spence 25 per cent.
Hearn expects the IBF to grant the extension request, and he remains confident that Brook’s next fight will be against Spence, despite personally feeling that his charge might be better suited to the super-welterweight division.
Spence has been the IBF mandatory challenger for a while, but in September of last year Brook was granted permission to jump to middleweight and take on unified champion Gennady Golovkin. He lost due to an eye injury, and subsequently decided he would return to welterweight and defend his title.
Khan has previously claimed that should Brook make it through his mandatory obligation against Spence, a huge summer showdown between the two can be made.
“One thing about the Kell Brook fight, he’s got a mandatory challenger. Go fight your mandatory, you say you’re the king of mandatories, so go fight your mandatory. Hopefully you can take the fight with me afterward,” he told Boxing News.
Brook, while still willing to negotiate with Khan, despite several attempts at making the fight failing, is focused on returning to action after recovering from the surgery he required on the injury he sustained during the Golovkin fight.
