I see a great potential in Broner but please come back after he finally :deadmanny: some top-tier opponents. So far, Bradley's resume shyts on Broner.

We aint talking about resume's breh.

Skills and talent are irrelevant when you waste it on taxi drivers. Just saying.

Broner would counter punch Bradley to a pulp. My only problem with Broner is that he takes unnecessary punches.

I won't argue with that. The kid got talent to be a fighter of his generation. But he haven't beaten any top-tier opponent so far. His biggest win are DeMarco and Ponce De Leon. :leostare:

Roy Jones is rolling in his grave right now

Roy have notable wins against top tier opponents. Hopkins and James Toney. Virgil Hill and Montell Griffin weren't that bad either. He also beat Tarver the first time around after losing his legs.

What was Roy's resume looking like when he was 23 though?

The Problem is only 23 years old breh, on his way to being 27-0 and a 3 time Champion in 3 different weight classes.

Yall cant keep comparing people's full careers to somebody who's just starting. At the same age as Broner is right now, Roy's biggest win was over who? Jorge Castro? Jorge Vaca?:rudy:

Now, that is not to shyt on Roy which is why I said Roy is rolling over in his grave. It leads to my point that Roy was ALWAYS a great fighter and just because he fought bums didnt mean that he couldnt beat Bernard Hopkins with 1 hand, James Toney, OR become the HWY Champion of The World when he did come across them.

Resumes mean nothing....boxing skills do.

Broner is next up:blessed:

Meldrick Taylor have all the skills. But look what happened when he faced Chavez Sr.. Skills is a major element to become great but there are also other factors. Chavez isn't really all that skilled compared to Taylor, Leonard, etc.

I have yet to see Broner get challenge. At least I saw Floyd. Let's see how he does against pressure.

I'm not impressed with Timothy Bradley barely beating a nobody.....he doesnt deserve to be P4P nothing.

Struggling against this unknown cat:childplease:

Broner would destroy Bradley:umad:

I have stated this in a roundabout way but some people either think Bradley is too good or Broner is not good enough. Bradley is a GOOD fighter and a GOOD champion, but he is no killer. Although he beat Alexander and Peterson, he really still is on the same tier. Take away Pac, and Alexander has faced better opposition before and after becoming champion. Its just that Bradley got a very good push from GSP early in his career while the much younger (in boxing years) Alexander was frozen out a lot by DKP. Bradley actually turned down Khan fight to sign with TR and immediately and subsequently faced a damn corpse in Casamayor. TR had promised to feed him to Pac. :ooh:

In a way I understand why Bradley feels slighted by the public and boxing fans because he has worked hard and feels he is one of the best. The truth is, he benefited from great promotion rather than cleaning out a division as some suggest. He also is likely at his apex as far a top champion. After this fight, he will have to fight some better fighters to make money or rematch Ruslan, which would be another tough fight.

I'm not what more you can ask from the guy at this point. Dude just started getting main events. To this point he's dominated everyone he's stepped in the ring against. People are quick to say that "Such and such fighter is only fighting tomato cans" but dude career just really got rolling. Let him get there. He doesn't strike me as the type to duck fighters. He'll be a P4P type guy in due time. Dude is just 23.

It's not like I'm trying to discredit the dude or whatever. But never count chickens until they hatched. There are many prospects that was "The next big thing" but never reached that status.
