You my nikka but:ufdup:

Who the fukk is Maidana the same Madiana that got his ears boxed off and embarrassed by shot Morales...................

I"m a LM hater, but he destroys Khan. But while we talking about Madaiana/LM is people supposed to act like LM is superman but his fat ass wont move and face a Maidana a man that beat his ass 3x in the amateurs:smugfavre:

I definitely wouldnt pick Khan to beat LM...but what I am saying is, I didnt think he would beat Maidana either...lol. So I am just saying it wouldnt be a shock. I favor Garcia over LM. Would love to see Maidana vs LM though....geez.

fixed for truth...

Eddie Chambers is fighting at Cruiserweight on NBC August 3rd against some African dude......dude goin out like Chris Byrd :why:

I think Chambers is better suited for CW. Chambers fast as shyt but he always been fat. Byrd was not fat as a HW. Byrd was a better HW than anything else but Chambers likely better as a CW.

did anyone take u up on that user status challenge?

After careful thought and consideration with my family and team, I have decided to relinquish my WBC Super Middleweight World Champion Emeritus Title. As has been recently reported, the WBC elected to strip me of my world title belt, making the upcoming bout between Sakio Bika and Marco Antonio Periban for the vacant super middleweight title. After consultation with my manager James Prince and attorney Josh Dubin, it is my belief that the WBC did not have the right to strip me of my world title and name me champion emeritus. We voiced our position to the WBC, and after several discussions, have agreed to disagree with their interpretation of the facts and rules. In our opinion, we feel strongly that I did not violate the rules in any manner whatsoever.

When I fought Chad Dawson, there was no mandatory contender. Subsequent to my victory, I injured my shoulder but have remained ready, willing and able to defend my title within the period specified by the WBC’s rules. Nonetheless, without what we feel was appropriate due process, the WBC elected to strip me of my world title. I think my track record in fighting the best opponents available speaks for itself. I worked extremely hard and dedicated my entire career to win and defend my WBC belt. As a matter of principle, I have chosen to stand up for what I believe is right. I think the fans know and appreciate that I am the super middleweight champion of the world, and I trust that I will continue to be recognized assuch. I am back in training again, feeling great, and excited about my return to the ring.

Boxing News | Statement from Andre Ward on the WBC World Champion Emeritus Title

this is crazy stuff. WBC views Champion Emeritus as a promotion (like WBA Super Champ when actually its more like the IBF's Champion in Recess) while fighters such as Ward and others view it more as a demotion or being stripped.

even if Danny is scared....(which he did look a bit concerned) I would rather see that Danny than an over-confident one. A scared Garcia could be just what's needed to beat Matthysse, because he wont make careless mistakes.

He had an excellent gameplan against Zab. I am sure he will watch plenty of tape and have a good plan for LM. You dont acquire all those belts to come in and give them away. I expect a war. Dont sleep on Garcia.
Don't know how you picked up that I'm sleeping on Garcia from what I posted, but what you said is exactly what I was thinking. He'll be well prepared for this fight and I expect a great one from these two.

listen....I just call it like I see it. I dont try and discredit guys. I give credit where credit is due. Khan got heart and if its up to him personally, I know he feels he can beat LM because he survived Maidana. Khan just has a weak chin.

LM. he has the power, but he headhunts and looks for early KO's. his weakness his, he can be outboxed early and late. if he cant get a fighter out...he is in jeapardy of losing because he doesnt put rounds in the bag. this is why Khan thinks he can beat him.

if Khan keep LM from landing those clean shots, he would surely win because you can bet he'd be up on the cards.

its a big if of course, but I wouldnt be shocked to see Khan win. I thought it was brave of his team to put him in against Maidana.
:childplease: cmon son you dont believe those words

Khan's lack of chin has some truth and untruth to it. Dude was dropped by Garcia by a shot to neck and he got up when many wouldn't. He got back up and stood upright as he took bombs from Garcia. He was downed 2 more times but he stood up to shots from Garcia that would've dropped many.

I believe a lot of it is mental for him and @LauderdaleBoss is correct about Khan being his best behind the jab and fast combos. I disagree with the roach sentiment because Hunter will teach him to conserve energy and trade on the inside while protecting himself.
If Khan can fight on the inside with his chin down, throw combos and to the body dude will be a legit problem.

Is anyone hyped for Froch vs Kessler 2 :ld: Never watched the first fight

I've seen Froch vs Ward and Dirrell and his offense was stagnated by their boxing ability.
I don't even think Dirrell is that great of a boxer. Is Kessler any better than Dirrell?

I'm sorta hyped for Froch/Kessler 2. The first fight was good, but it wasn't some FOTY type shyt. It got praise because it was the best fight out of the super I mean ordinary 6 tournament. Kessler won by pretty much outworking Froch. He went to the body a lot early and carried most of the early rds. Froch didn't seem to wake up into the middle of the fight. The best moments came in the later rds. I think Froch got his nose broken too. Some say it was close enough to go either way, but I had Kessler winning 7 rds to 5 clearly. Kessler is as textbook as they come and wasn't afraid to commit to pressuring Froch unlike Dirrell who was half hearted in his offensive approach even though I still had him winning.

As far as Hunter and Khan go, Hunter can help his defense and surviving skills definitely. I just don't think the whole gameplan of being calculated and measured in the ring is gonna cut it now. Everybody is going to be going after that chin whenever Khan starts to go in those offensive lulls. Khan just has to learn to systematically break dudes down and get them out of there before they get him. He could have done that with Garcia, but he couldn't help himself and tried to rush it and got caught mid flurry throwing a wide uppercut from too great a distance.
