Compubox is subjective as hell...but still, just saying if someone were trying to say the judges needed to be suspended or something....that would be a tough sell.

Only gone a week? Let's do this. I have enough confidence in Garcia to win or I wouldnt bet even if it was a 24 hr ban. You obviously have the confidence in LM....so there you have it. Your first taker.

Welcome to team Garcia :blessed:

I guess you can say that. I just wasnt sold that Garcia was the best. Still not until he takes care of LM. What I wanted to do was get some clarity and separation. Garcia showed well against Zab, so I had to give him some credit. Now its 3 top JWWs...so I had to wait to see what LM-Peterson was gonna do. That fight added more clarity. So now there are two that stand about the rest. Between those two, going off what I have seen....I favor Danny. He is the most well rounded JWW right now. Matthysse is good and I love KO's...but I like a lot of what I have seen from Danny, especially against Zab. He has some weaknesses but Matthysee has some big flaws that Peterson was not able to exploit. I am a Zab fan, but as for who is the best...I gotta ride with Danny right now.

my issue with them being questionable is at least two fold.

one....they were both close fights. Matthysse didnt do enough to win cleanly.

two....the reason why people think Matthysse won both of those fights is actually not based on real scoring. LM won his rounds bigger than Zab or Devon and of course the KD's were 10-8 rounds. but he questionably lost more rounds or gave up the benefit of the doubt in the close rounds.

LM is a slow starter because when guys are fresh he has to adjust to the speed. He looked great against Peterson because of how Peterson stood close to him and straight up. Had LM won just one or two more of the earlier rounds, he'd won both fights. The fact is....he lost some early rounds in both fights. Fighters can hang with him if they dont keep getting KD's or KOed.

the thing you have to pay close attention to is when LM didnt finish off Zab or Devon they were able to fight back effectively even winning some rounds/moments AFTER they had been hurt.

say breh
did you hear LM's interview with Jim Gray where they asked him verbatim did the loss to judah and alexander make you change your style? and he responded yes I have to get the fighter out of there and hurt him to avoid gettin robbed? or something of that nature.
LM changed his ways up since those fights, why would you be focusing his 2+yr old losses to ZJ and DA instead of his two wins by KO this year while were still in spring breh breh?

From fat dans twitter - No opponent and nothing official but Richard Schaefer is holding Sept. 28 at @barclayscenter for the return of @RealMiguelCotto #boxing

Boxing rec has Cotto next opponent as K9:bryan:

Sept 28th would not be a PPV N having Canelo in NY doesn't make sense

Could this mean Floyd vs the Ginger is close to being made:ohhh:

Former WBA flyweight world champion Hernan “Tyson” Marquez (35-3-2, 26 KOs) and former IBF light flyweight world champion Carlos Tamara (23-7-1, 17 KOs) will meet in elimination bout for the WBO flyweight title on June 1 at the Estadio Sonora, Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. “I am very excited about fighting again in Hermosillo and on a big stage like the new stadium and more because it will be an elimination bout and with a win I’ll be one step closer to achieving my goal, which is to be world champion again,” said Marquez “I’ve done a lot of preparation because I know I’ll face a very difficult and experienced opponent in Carlos Tamara, who also was already a world champion.”

Basically.

And K9 might be even hungrier now and will probably put up a better fight since he wants to get back in the mix of things. I also think the Ishe fight left a bad taste in his mouth. Cotto has way more skills than Bundrage, but I don't think he's going to have an easy time with dude. Come to think of it, there's no easy fights left for Cotto at 154.
