I think the days of people thinking he's elite are over but you're correct about the overseas thing.
He won't beat any top 175 besides Bute but at 168 there are some nice money fights against big name euro comp he could beat (Abraham,Groves,Kessler)
I remember before Ward people thought he was a top 10 p4p. Dude is talented but so mentally fragile and was beating on old men who couldn't hurt him.

talent wise he was P4P but there is so much more to boxing than talent. mentally, he just doesnt seem concentrated, especially his preparation for fights. Stevenson is such an easy guy to scout for.
basically, use your reach and defense. especially early. dude dont have but one punch. nothing against Muhammad but Chad needed Steward. also Floyd Sr. would be great for him...but I remember when he fired Big Floyd sayin "Floyd dont know how to talk to people". Thats Floyd though...he talks shyt to you when you are lazy especially. when he was in the U.S. before pro. but not just him. Floyd talks to everybody like that...even Oscar. Floyd ghetto. and apparently Chad takes stuff like that personal. but those guys are there to work, not baby you. Chad also must realize, it has to be frustrating for top guys to work with him and see he is not getting the most out of his potential and skills.
on another note...everybody and their mother wants Stevenson now. he is lucky Bernard has that fight against Murat or B-Hop would sign that fight today.
