I remember watching this as a 6 year old...just total destruction
the thing is...like it or not....one of the fighters was undefeated. the other had been KOed. the undefeated fighter is still undefeated and making $30 mil plus guaranteed per fight. he has never had anything to hide, will take any test, and is STILL undefeated.
on the other hand you got a guy that gets a couple of disputed wins afterwards and then gets KOed. then he is fine with testing now and ONLY now because the guy that KOed him is using a sketchy guy in his camp.
Manny was never Floyd and never will be. He is a star in his own right. Floyd wanted the fight, but didnt need it to stay rich. Manny said he wanted the fight but he wasnt willing to do what it took to make it. He shouldnt be mad about it though...Floyd isnt.
sn: because of Manny's style being based so much on physicality, his days are numbered. he always was going to be a high wattage light bulb. he is barely a top 5 WW now being that it would be tough for him to beat Bradley or Marquez now.

Pac sold more tickets at the gate in his fight with Cotto than Mayweather did fighting the light weight Roidquez... Sold more ppvs too in that fight against Cotto than Floyd in his fight with Roidquez.. Another thing you all forget is Floyd wasnt even a champion.. was holding ZERO belts... just a former champion.
Pacquiao, who began his career at 106 pounds, won a major belt in seven different weight classes up to that point in 09 and captured a share of the lineal welterweight championship with a 12th nd stoppage of Cotto....

It's a shame because this dude really should be a superstar boxer in Latin America and the US. He's that skilled. seriously, I dont think he has the discipline to make ANY weight. if he campaigns at WW he will weigh in at 156. He clearly has something wrong mentally to even show up at the weigh in that heavy. I mean 2 lbs over is bad as hell. 8lbs? why even show up? did he try and lose weight? was he 16lbs heavier the previous day? did he just not try and lose weight in camp and say fukk it I am coming in at whatever?
nikka couldve won titles from 126-140 if he just wouldve stayed active and disciplined.
