I feel you. I think its 50/50 maybe Floyd 55/45.

Floyd's reflexes and boxing ability would give him the edge, but if the Punisher from the 12th rd of the Margarito fight shows up and decides to box aggressively for 12 rds....Floyd would be in for a long night. Paul's handspeed was always at its quickest when he boxed. It'll look like how all the Brits think a Khan/Floyd fight would look, but more violent.
Exactly! Anyone that has an eye for styles knows that the Punisher had the stance, length (pause lol) & work rate to give Floyd fits if not upset him; especially the version that fought Margarito like you said

It's a fight where I believe Floyd would have to put himself in the danger zone to win if Punisher fights the way we think we would. Like when Sugar Ray Leonard had to go :demonic:against Hearns

butterbean talking shyt :heh:..butterbean was once a "jake paul" until someone decided not to play ball with what was going on and he got stopped in short order lol

I honestly think that's what it is.

The fights aren't rigged, but the effort is already predetermined so nobody really ever fights to win. They'll show glimpses here and there for appearances, but for the most part they pull their punches or don't be explosive.

Tommy Fury prolly the only one who said fukk that narrative and fought to win, but even then he's so mid, he still got dropped in the process.

he was lol

Paul looks decent in training....like he prolly has better workout videos than Wilder (smh yes I know)

but he never looks that competent in the actual fights. Like he does all the moves, but it comes off like he's 100 percent thinking about what he's doing. Like the whole cerebral element is gone. No fluidity or naturalness to it.

I think Tommy Hearns knocks out Floyd pretty fast. Floyd never dealt with anyone either that height, power, and speed.
Why did he and Winky Wright never fight again?
Margarito too, although I wouldn’t call Margarito a fighter that’s explosive or with speed. He had exceptional stamina and deceptive power though (hand wraps aside).

Mayweather fought pretty much everyone, but he didn’t like to get in their with taller fighters.

Still doesn't change what Roy said. Sugar Ray beats Floyd

If Floyd would've faced Paul Williams, Vernon Forrest, and Margarito... Fighters in their prime that he ducked because they have a physical advantage over him.... Maybe this video would have been funnier

Can't duck lions in your weight class, turn yourself into "Money Mayweather" carefully picking opponents, then criticize fighters for losing for challenging themselves to go up against Lions. Doesn't work that way

Yea I just don't think Floyd matches up well with any of the 4 kings. His best chance would be against Duran. But I think those guys were too big and mean at 147 for him. Sugar ray woulda been able to hurt Floyd like mosley did but he woulda been able to finish the job. Floyd never really fought many guys with his athleticism. And when he did he usually always got clipped(zab/Mosley). He also had issues with guys who could take his punches and press forward on him(Castillo/maidana). Floyd's 147 run was never that impressive to me.

I always wanted to see Floyd fight pwill, winky, and Vernon Forrest. I think all those guys woulda gave him hell. Winkys jab and size woulda been hard for Floyd to overcome.

Look at the haters proving May right, yall dont know how those fights would have turned out :mjlol:

For a boxer of Roy’s caliber to go out the way he did was embarassing.

I’m not talking about the Tarver/Johnson KO’s. The Johnson KO should have told him that it’s truly over.

It’s the multiple stoppages after that fight. :snoop:

The crazy part is he went on to fight over twenty times after the Johnson fight. He must of really needed the money,

I seen an interview recently with RJJ talking about wanting to fight Jake Paul. This is why he needs a fulltime commentary gig again to keep him busy enough not get those thoughts in his head.

Or get a good fighter under his training stable that can make it to the next level so that would help fuel his ego not as a fighter but as a trainer.
