I swear this happens every few years in boxing some nikka comes along with some power and a gang of flaws and dudes fall in love, then the minute he gets the shyt boxed out of his ass dudes go on the slander mission.

BHop aint boxing the shyt outta Stevenson. He may win...but it wont be like Shumenov or Pavlik. Stevenson is a different type of fighter. He is strong and athletic....like guys BHop has problems with. Taylor, Dawson, etc...

BHop is a great fighter but now you are going to make me pull his card. He has nearly ALWAYS had issues with strong athletic guys who can punch. Roy (even though Roy was never really strong, but super athletic and could punch), Echols, Allen, Mercado, Taylor. BHop is a master technician but I warn you about dismissing Stevenson or placing him in the same category as Shumenov. He is not leagues above Shumenov, but his style is different and styles make fights.

Where am I being dismissive of him in regards to Hopkins? It's like you dudes ignore the posts where I'm saying it's possible for him to decision BHop. I just can't take anyone seriously who thinks he stops Hopkins, even at 49.

I'm only dismissive of him in regards to Ward fighting him.

This was before B hop last fight. And he wasnt Exclusive to showtime. Plus Kathy duva Offered Kulv to showtime they said no.

Hopkins accepted it and instead of facing a legend in a headline fight, Kovalev decided to face a paper champion in Cleverly
