Got a text asking from someone at work saying why didnt you show up today. Sent a message back saying im an alcoholic who doesnt know what day it is and I dont think this job is going to work out.

When I have a job I pay less attention to boxing and spend more money on alcohol and just become a degenerate. I dont know how to explain this to my mom and my brother because they are mad as fukk at me.

Crawford got hit with some shots that he shouldn't have... Especially since he had a 4 inch reach advantage N height advantage

If those bombs was from a legit 135-140 fighter he would been slumped

I'm interested in seeing how he handles 140 even tho TRs roster is:scusthov:

Your boy is a good fighter but don't throw out shyt like he'd beat Bradley or JMM. Slow ya roll homie

yeah, I will throw it out there. my money is on Crawford against any of them dudes. the fact is....we dont know a whole lot about any of these match ups because everybody is fighting in intra-promotional circles. JMM is a great in my book but his days are numbered. he aint BHop. Bradley is an overachiever on the same level as Devon, the difference is the career paths. the signing of a piece of paper. Prov was overrated just by giving Bradley a tough fight. Bradley is no top 10 p4p talent to me....only by attrition. thats why I wish this cold war would end. I want to see Swift, AB, Crawford, JMM, Pac, etc...all mix it up. When you talk about P4P, its obviously Floyd. Then Ward....I have to give it to him....his level of comp speaks for itself...but Bradley aint shyt to me breh. he is an overachieving gym rat who happened to fight 2 good fights with Manny and a close fight with JMM. You put a guy like Thurman or Porter in that same position and say they couldnt do the same damn thing.

he did....but I saw that more as laziness and cockiness than technical. he is a fighter on the rise and he is not a finished product. he is going to have to learn from those mistakes. this is not the best Crawford we will see.

It was the other way around breh Gamboa wanted as much as Garcia. Garcia would have beat the shyt out of Gamboa like Crawford did

there are different accounts. I will try to find it if I can but Bob said that they had the deal done and somebody told Mikey that Gamboa was getting like a mil or something while Mikey was only gonna get like 500k and Mikey was like fukk that....but Bob said it wasnt true and Mikey's people were just trying to fill his head with lies. thats why he wanted out of his contract.

Breh......we've already been over this last year:manny:

Crawford's defense and ability to get caught cleanly and repeatedly by a much smaller Gamboa with short arms until Gamboa got tired was glaring over the first 4 rounds. AB doesn't gas out like Gamboa though and yes, he DOES have faster hands and quickness than Crawford......plus defense.

Broner is a better fighter than the midget Gamboa and again, a tired Gamboa was able to put Crawford's legs on wobble, so I know his chin isn't made of iron either.

It's a good matchup, but I didn't feel see anything from him that would make me choose him over Broner.

Hell, a lot of people had him receiving a clear boxing lesson until Gamboa got tired:mjpls:

the same Broner that was letting midget Rees lay hands on him? :mjlol:

wouldve gotten smoked like a cheap cigar by Gamboa. you act like Gamboa aint got speed or power. Gamboa aint Rees or Demarco. lets not act like he is some bum. he is a frontrunner yes...but the adjustment in style is what fukked him up. Crawford took a half step back and when he switched to southpaw Gamboa couldnt get his foot positioning right. AB has never fought a fighter as good as Gamboa at lightweight....not even close :heh:
the only fighters he ever fought as good as Gamboa was Paulie and Chino....and we know what happened in both of those fights.

as far as something that you can see for choosing purposes...its simple. that shoulder roll just aint gonna work for AB against a higher level of competition. a) he gets hit too damn much with it and b) he dont move his hands enough out of it. thats why he has to rethink this whole 147 thing. and it aint gonna be easy at 140 either unless he has plenty of cherry picks.

Yeah, Bradley was the 140 King and just moved up. We talk shyt about him, but he could beat every fighter at 140:manny:

he could...but he could get beat too. Swift can beat him for sure. Algeri has a good chance too. dont know why yall overrate this dude. cuz he beat lazy ass ****? or ancient ass Campbell with no legs? then shamelessly ducked Khan. Bradley aint shyt to me but an overachiever and Prov proved that. I could name about 5 other fighters who have been pros since Bradley that couldve done the same shyt he done if the opportunity was the same. had he not breached contract with GSP we may not even be talkin bout his ass now. his days are numbered too because he has to find another opponent besides Pac or JMM and it doesnt make sense for him to fight Prov again and take the risk of losing. I'd bet money that Porter or Thurman fukk his ass up.

Breh....if you already think Crawford can beat Bradley and JMM, then it ain't even WORTH talking bout AB because obviously you see something nobody else sees in Crawford:manny:

Again, Gamboa had struggled in his last fight against a C opponent AND was coming off a year layoff....which means ring rust, and he was still outclassing Crawford amongst the majority of viewers until he tired out and got chinny just like @patscorpio said.

It was a solid victory for Crawford, but let's act like he was dominating the fight. Lets also not just crown him as the favorite over the Garcia's/Matthysse's/Peterson's/Broner's/Postol's/Provodnikov's/Bradley's/JMM's just yet.....because they are not undersized midgets who should still be at 126 like Gamboa:mjpls:

And for the record, Paulie would be a tough test for Crawford as well and if Gamboa could wobble his legs, Chino wouldn't let him make it past 5 rounds:ufdup:
