From what I remember, most people were criticizing the demands of Floyd as it pertains to the testing. It's common practice now, but Olympic style drug testing back then was really unheard of. Even many boxers themselves were like "who the fukk is Floyd to demand all these rigorous tests"
I think Manny should've just taken the test. But I see why he didn't. Deep down, I'm sure Pac was very angry that Floyd and his camp tried to sully his career with these allegations and tried to discredit his whole career. Him and his camp probably felt they didn't need to comply with all these demands, especially since they felt they were the draw for the fight (or at least as big as Floyd). Unfortunately, it backfired on him and now he has to live with it for the rest of his career

i want to see gamboa fight before the year ends. if he's going to 130, i hope hbo can make the fight between him and that jap uchiyama who putting motherfukkas to sleep out there. garica on the other hand still got some shyt with top rank to sort out but i would still love to see him against gamboa. i don't think it's gonna happen now though.

the funny thing with floyd and his whole crusade with PEDs is his stable of young nikkas..half of them are actual drug cheats..potheads, use of diuretics, and a nikka with a way too high test level..shyt is comedy to me..thats why im

Thats a promotional company requiring their fighters to submit to year round testing and they have no choice but to reply...
Different from a fighter demanding another fighter submit to unlimited blood withdrawals which was unheard of at the time

There was no set limit on the amount of blood they would be allowed to withdraw... Pac had no problem submitting to unlimited piss though
