They got a Home of the Hoagy in Country Club Hills. It’s decent and there’s no wait. It’s NOTHING like the original tho. Black foodies are trash. I give them a pass because they just having fun.

Seeing a lot of mentions about NOT renting a whip? Is traffic that bad?

Staying at least 6 days any hotel recommendations? No more than like 650 a night some of y'all shyts too high for me

Yeah, you probably don't need a car. Most of the things you'll do or suggestions you'll get will be places near the area where you can just walk, hop in an Uber or even the train if you were up to it.

we live here, how would we know which hotels got good deals???

depending on where u stay would determine if u need a whip. if u downtown/west loop/south loop or by the L, u can use public transportation. plus parking is too pricey in a lot of those places. if ur staying in the burbs, then u will need a whip for sure.

I don't recommend dispensaries here unless u got NO OTHER option. I just came back from detroit this week, and on the way home, we stopped at the dispensaries in battle creek, MI. not only does michigan have a TON of dispensaries, but they are EXTREMELY cheap. like a pack of edibles was only $10. I got a 2g vape for like $20.

dispensary weed here is 2-3 times more expensive, plus they charge u almost 50% in sales taxes

if u want deep dish, I'm gonna send u someplace that most people probably don't know. try williams inn. it's in the south loop near cermak (22nd street) on michigan. they have really underrated deep dish that is as good as any of the other famous places in the city. plus they are black owned.

fried chicken, u gonna have to try harold's of course. they got them downtown/south loop/south side.

Green Rose dispensary. Generally walking distance most places downtown if you're in river north/gold coast.

Just did NYC last year with the whole family with no car for the first time so I can do the public transportation thing...this time it's just me and my wife

Still tempted to get a car but I got plenty of time to decide on that

Plan to hit the DuSable and I know my wife wants to see the glass floor at the Sears tower

But I'd love to just hit a regular park and play a lil hoop or get a quick workout....I'm weird like that lol
