dd's been cranking out rifles faster than ukraine can buy them. psa's been blowing out the m4 urgi for $600, and brownells puts the m4a1 ris iii on sale for $570 (!!!) every month or so. i bought a couple dozen of the urgis lol, i can give away a bunch, flip the rest and still come out ahead.

edit: speaking of g$, i need to pick up one of the gfrs, it looks like turns 500-1k yard shots into a point-and-click adventure game

Nope. Still need to buy the BCG (next week), gas tube, gas block, barrel and hand guard. I already brought a completed upper receiver, charging handle and muzzle device. Probably have it done by the end of this summer/early fall.

So, this is the gun that was left to me by father who died last year. I'm just getting around to learn how to operate since this is my very first firearm. As soon as my homie gets me trained on how to properly disassemble/reassemble, clean & operate the pistol without ammo, then I'll be hitting up a gun range for practice... hopefully, once per week.

For those who can't tell, this is the Sig Sauer 1911 Nightmare .45 ACP. I think I'm gonna keep this one stock, then when I purchase my next gun (or my first, if you wanna be technical) I'll do all of the mods.

I have a Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec, I have had my gun for 10 years and never had a malfunction. I also have a Kimber Pro Carry 2 as one of my CC.
I love the 1911 platform.

Staccato or another high end 2011. Have you thought about a PCC or something else? You have a nice price range to work with.

staccato's on the lowest end of 2011s (well, if you don't count turkish lol)

no f/a's that inexpensive, even though their values have been going down due to the proliferation of frts, the most clapped out reislings/stens will run you more

@Luke Cage if i was in your position again, with having every base covered with a single solid gun, i'd get nods

you can get a really nice monocular or a low-end set of duals for $4k, prices are gonna go up a LOT soon cause l3harris is leaving the civilian market

the only other thing that jumped to mind right away was silencers, but that's not a trophy item
