Also think about diminished returns if you are undecided if you want to shell the $$$ on any new gun. How much of a difference are you getting if you are spending thousands on a gun compare to some similar that is much less? I'm in a restrictive state so my overall opinion is shrewd compare to someone who is in a free state where there are more choices. Do you know how much are you planning on using it, is it going to be for everyday carry, home defense or just to show off at the range?

a bit of home defense and show off. I figured a nightstand gun doesn't have to be concealable. So i got a nickel plated something that would be cool.
but now yall got me thinking about shelling out for a full auto. which would be loads of fun at the range.

If I was you, I would just go for the full auto because the price tag would be worth it.

The trip wire is crazy to me. bulk manufactured booby traps.

Technically its just an alarm system, you put a 12 gage shorty round or flare round into it, somebody trips the wire and it will make a loud noise alerting you.

nothing illegal about that. but i feel like in an shtf situation if somebody doesn't care about law they can just turn that thing sideways. Now the round is pointed at the legs of whoever tripped it. They must have some sort of safety thing to prevent that or else, this is one bad user away from being banned eventually.

i remember a famous case where a burglar was maimed by one of those then sued the homeowner into bankruptcy

surely you'd never do that, i know you're using it to keep animals out of your garden in which case these things are more useful than blanks

Naw, i just like having stuff like that, it feels more satisfying know that they can actually work too. Not some fake airsoft type stuff.
I'll probably buy some milspec looking smoke bombs at some point too. Most of my stuff is just for display anyway. My man cave looks like half 90 arcade and half 90s action movie weapon room. Just for fun. but i figure, might as well get shyt that works too just because its cooler to me than fake shyt

in that case - nice score on the 37mm - but i guarantee you'll trade it in for a 40mm soon, 40s can take 37s and are strictly better aside from the $200 tithe to the crown. setting aside the fun stuff like beehive rounds/fireworks/flashbangs, there's all sorts of less lethals (oc/batons) and binary grenades for them so you won't even need to get an FEL or build out a magazine adjoining your house.

They are banning Glocks because the trigger setup can be converted to a fully automatic weapon (switch) . Right now, only the gen 3 versions are only available because they were grandfather in before the handgun roster was implemented. Either Glock finally makes a CA version of their guns (loaded chamber indicator & magazine disconnect, along with a another trigger setup) or they can no longer be sold in the state after Jan 1 (FFLs can still sell after that date as long they had them in stock beforehand). Glock is most likely going to leave the market like other manufacturers because CA laws are too stringent.
