not really a fan of found footage , but this was like a really good x-files monster of the week episode
starts out as sci fi then flips to psychological horror.

On one hand, she absolutely deserves the nomination and I would be ecstatic if she gets it, on the other hand, if she gets it then it will stoke old anger about the Academy snubbing Toni Collette's performance in Hereditary.

It’s a shame how often horror gets shunned away by the Academy. It’s such a rarity to see nominations for the genre. The money it costs to campaign for them ain’t even worth the hassle.
