actually @Prodigal Syndicate tell me what you've seen before I start giving you suggestions
Seen conjuring and james wan films.

Also from this thread already seen vhs 1&2, maniac, martyrs, serbian film.

Ive seen most mainstream horror films. Seen a few foreign horror flicks like high tension.

I guess im more looking for cult classics, foreign films, old classics that i just havent seen, and just the most fukked up ones.

I think these are all pretty great

thetenant.jpg

Last part of his "Apartment Trilogy" with Rosemary's Baby and Repulsion. Really dope psychological horror. Classic shyt.

220px-Peepingtomposter.jpg

One of the first films to show/sympathise with the killer's point of view. The controversy ended the director's career. If you like Hitchcock you should dig it.

Dead-of-Night.jpg

Old af (1945) but still great anthology from Ealing Studios. First possessed ventriloquist dummy in cinema.

If I had to recommend one film tho :patrice:
kill_list_march_2012.jpg

Best horror film I've seen in years, but it might not be for everyone. If you do watch it go in blind/ no googles. I think it's on Netflix/ Amazon Prime right now as well

"Jacob's Ladder" (I hope you see this, it's the basis for the "Silent Hill" video games)
"They Live" (classic Carpenter, you probably already seen it)
'78 "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers"
"Audition"
"Inside"
"Trick R Treat" (basically a modern day "Creepshow"....I hope you seen "Creepshow")
"Creepshow" (if you ain't)
"In The Mouth Of Madness" (great slept on Carpenter movie, maybe you seen it)
"The Descent"
Lars Von Trier's "The Antichrist"
"Phantoms"
"Event Horizon"
"Hellraiser" 1 & 2
"Funny Games" (the '07 remake by the same director)
[REC] (Spanish movie "Quarantine" was based on)
"Feast"
Romero's "Day Of The Dead" (the GOAT zombie movie IMO)
"The Brood"

Some of those are classic, some are just :damn: or entertaining.

Fred.
