It's sounding like Osgood Perkins' new movie isn't gonna live up to the trailer. But I still really want to peep it.



I'm beginning to think Perkins will never live up to the Blackcoat's Daughter. I REALLY like that movie while the rest of his stuff ranges from weak (I am the pretty thing that lives in the house) to good but not great (the Monkey and Longlegs).

I was JUST about to say fukk it and go in blind yesterday, but when I saw the review embargo lift at noon and all the mixed reviews came rolling in, I pumped my brakes

Yeah, the reviews were pouring in with really lukewarm energy. Both movies I was looking forward to this weekend are looking shaky according to the reviews. I've been pretty hype about the Carpenter's Son, but it's getting cooked.

Damn I liked the first trailer I saw of 'Keeper' but it doesn't sound like I need to see it quickly. If it's really a bait and switch directors gotta stop doing that.

I said this before: any horror movie that gets a lot of hype from mainstream movie outlets 9 times out of 10 winds up being mediocre.

I didn't know there were people who didn't like it lol. I remember being in a packed movie theater for 'Freddy v Jason' it was a great time..

I'm only 15 minutes into it, so I couldn't tell you if this movie is actually good or not. But Sew Torn already has a scene that made me laugh my ass off at the absurdity. It just dropped on Shudder.

If you liked longlegs...I suggest waiting for keeper to be on streaming.

Saw it yesterday with my friend and it wasn't bad...but probably not worth a theater visit.
