Yeah yeah I know Im replying to my own post but I watched this this morning...pretty dope. Reminded me of Trick R Treat...another ill ass Halloween themed horror film.

Ouija: Origin of Evil was terrible. Not even worth a review. Don't think about renting it. I can't believe it has a 81% on RT.

you sure you saw the correct movie? The 1st one was but Origin of Evil to me was REALLY good.

fukkery/comedy levels, sure 8/10. creating suspense, thrills, and/or anticipation 3/10

of the movies i watched this year that fall in this subgenre, the invitation and hush >>> *

'The Invitation' and 'Hush' are great horror movies, I've tried to put a few friends on, how to build suspense and dread, create a setting and characters that can be believed, or believed in, for a 90 min period, which many seem to struggle with. Two of my favorites of the year too.

lol...i dont even know where within the woods fits in ...the titles and rights to within the woods is kinda sketchy (which is why theres another camp blood claiming part 3)...but part 2 has an anaglyph 3d version:

Nah, a bunch of college friends pull a prank on a socially awkward classmate that makes the guy go nuts and he ends up institutionalized.
A few years pass and the group of friends are on a graduation train trip when someone starts killing them one by one.
