Rewatched the Apology last night. Xmas slow burn, the tension was still there, Anna Gunn was Anna Gunn doing her best Skyler impression.

Good movie! Tense as hell and messed up but in a way that raised the stakes to max.

The Substance and Late Night with the Devil
OR
Late Night with the Devil, The First Omen, Maxxxine, and Cuckoo...

I prioritized original/new concepts. So, Late Night with the Devil is a must and I get one more non-sequel in either way...but I get to save more movies by shading the Substance in spite of it being arguably the best of the bunch.

'Chopping Mall' 1986. Now this was some fukkery here man I tell ya Lol. Basically all these high school students spend overnight at the mall tryna party and hook up and shyt and a somewhat futuristic slasher ensues. Man I don't wanna explain it, just watch it. Gore level is moderate, it's not really a serious movie, I would have to think the writers and director are in on the joke here.
