Barbarian was a fun ass watch to me. Been interesting seeing the majority of the sub take a collective shyt on it while I’ve watched some legit bad entries from this year alone that deserve similar heat.

Catching it in Dolby at the time certainly changed the game during a few sequences. Enough for me to watch anything else from Cregger. fukkin’ dope watching him and Peele shift from being big comedy guys into full-on horror auteurs.

Only 13 reviews in so far but 'Weapons' is sitting at 100% on RT which matches what I alluded to earlier last week about the reactions I've been seeing. People calling it a classic.

I don't want to get too hyped over it but I will just say that I'm liking what I'm hearing. We'll be there opening weekend.

Has any mentioned a halfway switch. If that starts being a trademark of the director I'm bootlegging the fukk out his future projects

I'm a big fan of Barbarian too. I do think the first half is better than the second half, but that's partly because that first portion is so good.

It wasn't a bad movie but the hype it got was ridiculous. People acted like the "plot twist" was a mind blowing first time experience

I'd tell those horror movie Johnny Come Lately's to watch Audition if you want a "plot twist"

Yeah I’m not understanding the “it’s overhyped” complaint. Most people was just like it’s one of the best horror movies of 2022 and it was. It’s flawed for sure but it was mostly enjoyable and only outclassed by smile and talk to me.
