The Ultimatum event was done purely for shock value and much of it betrayed already established (and better) characterizations for most of the characters. The ONLY decent thing Jeph Loeb wrote for the Ultimate Line was that Ultimate X Mini that introduced Wolverine's kid.

I was hoping for good stuff

It hasn't been bad, just......meh.

It reads a lot like that Feat Itself bullshyt where a lot of things happen but it still manages to feel uneventful.

It's had it's moments here and there (Black Panther slapping Stark, Cap beating down Wolverine and throwing him out of a plane, Cyclops doing bauce nikka shyt, the phoenix five costumes). but overall it's been a joke.

I barely fukk with mainstream marvel anymore outside of Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, & Fantastic Four.

Ultimate Marvel is way better with Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimates, and Ultimate Comics X-Men.

that universe has it up's and down's. The way they handled glatcus and silver sufer sucked but the protyal of spider-man was/is soild.

I don't think they gave a fukk about the x-men.

matter of fact x-men didn't really get alot of love once the 90's ended. I think Joe and co liked the non mutants better.

The Ultimate X-Men stuff had a REALLY good run to begin with, it just fell off much later.

Also after the 90's ended is when the X-Men line had one of it's best periods (early 2000's was the Morrison Era).

i feel you I liked Morrison's run but alot of people don't. In reality though they should have separated the two universes though. x-men don't really fit in mainstream marvel.

yeah AvX isnt anything special, but its better than fear itself which was just plain boring, stupid oh and it sucked.

oh and I loved ultimate universe until ulitmatum by bytch ass loeb came and fukked it over. now that almost all interesting characters are dead I dont really give a fukk about this universe, maybe they should restart it?
